Derartige Leichtbetonmaterialien sind in unterschiedlichsten Ausführungen bekannt. Neben der üblichen Bindemittelmatrix beispielsweise aus Zementleim weisen solche Leichtbetonmaterialien Zuschlagstoffe in Form von Blähton, Blähschiefer, Bims oder gesinterter Steinkohlenflugasche auf. Dies beeinflusst die mittel- und langfristige Druckfestigkeit des Holz-Beton-Materials.
