Bar lock for cabinet doors, flaps or the like with at least two rods, wherein the rods are releasably coupled to each other via a connecting device and each rod at at least one end has a recess for engaging a projection forming a part of the connecting device, characterized in that the connecting device of a box-type connection housing ( 13 ) with a rod to be connected ( 20 ) between side walls ( 14 ) receiving and leading receiving channel ( 15 ) and with an opening formed at its one end ( 18 ) for the rod ( 20 ), wherein the connection housing ( 13 ) one in its receiving channel ( 15 ) resiliently projecting tongue ( 16 ) as a carrier of the projection formed thereon ( 17 ) and the tongue ( 16 ) with the projection ( 17 ) on the connection housing ( 13 ) is positioned so that the projection ( 17 ) until it touches its end face ( 22 ) at the insertion opening ( 18 ) opposite wall ( 19 ) of the connection housing ( 13 ) in the receiving channel ( 15 ) inserted rod ( 20 ) in the recess ( 21 ) of the rod ( 20 ) and that on the connection housing ( 13 ) on the tongue ( 16 ) opposite side at least one holding surface is formed, so that the rod ( 20 ) between the holding surface and the resilient tongue ( 16 ) is trapped.

Rod closure according to one of claims 1 to 5, having a rod lock as support of at least one lock rod and with a locking rod attached to the lock rod by means of the connection device, characterized in that the connection housing ( 13 ) on the lock bar ( 11 ) and the rod to be connected ( 20 ) with the recess formed at its end ( 21 ) in the connection housing ( 13 ) can be inserted and latched therein.

Rod closure according to claim 6, characterized in that in the case of a plastic locking bar ( 11 ) the plastic connection housing ( 13 ) in one piece with the lock rod ( 11 ) is trained.
