Die Einrichtung ist folgende:The facility is as follows:

In einem Gehäuse G ist eine Welle α gelagert, welche eine Nabe b und an ihren beiden Enden die Hebel c trägt; letztere sind oben wieder durch eine Walze d lose verbunden. Dieses ganze System kann durch Stellschrauben e höher oder tiefer gestellt und gleichzeitig damit der für die Bearbeitung der Wickel nöthige Spielraum gegeben werden. Die Hebel c sind aus zwei in einander verschieblichen Theilen, von denen der äufsere und mit ihm die Walze d durch die Feder f immer nach unten gedrückt wird, welche aber doch gestatten, dafs die Walze d sich etwas schief stellen kann. Dies ist besonders wichtig, da doch die verschiedenen Sorten der Wickel verschiedene Formen, konische etc., haben und sich dadurch der Druck auf dieselben gleichmäfsig vertheilt. Der an der Nabe b befestigte Gurt g endet in einen Fufstritt, mittelst dessen man die Walze d in einem Kreisbogen in der Richtung des Pfeiles bewegt, während die Feder h nach Loslassen des Fufstrittes die Walze d sofort in ihre Anfangsstellung zurückbringt. Ueber die Walze d hinweg geht, den hauptsächlichen Längen der Wickel entsprechend, ein liniirtes Tuch i, das an der einen Seite fest und an dem anderen Ende an einer Welle ο befestigt ist, durch welche man im Stande ist, das Tuch kurz oder lang zu machen. Dieses Verstellen des Tuches ist besonders nothwendig,, um starke oder schwache Wickel fabriciren zu können. Die Feder k hat den Zweck, das Tuch straff zu ziehen, damit man bequemer Umblatt mit Einlage auf dasselbe legen kann. / ist der Wickelfang, welcher ebenfalls verstellbar ist, um starke und schwache Wickel aufnehmen zu können.In a housing G , a shaft α is mounted, which carries a hub b and the lever c at both ends; the latter are loosely connected at the top by a roller d.
