Abstract

W a t t e s t ä b c h e n Es sind sogenannte Wattestäbchen bekannt, die im allgemeinen aus einem Stäbchen aus Holz oder Papier bestehen, an dessen einem oder vorzugsweise beiden Enden Wattebäusche befestigt sind. Nachteilig bei diesen Wattestäbchen ist, daß das Material, aus dem das Stäbchen selbst besteht, verhältnismüßig kostspielig in der Anschaffung ist und umständliche Herstellungsverfahren bedingt. Stäbchen aus Holz oder gewickeltem Papier haben weiterhin den Nachteil, daß sie in den Herstellungsmaschinen, in denen die Wattebäusche in den Enden der Stäbchen angebracht werden, nicht immer einwandfrei in der reichtigen Lage liegen, so daß die Stäbchen manchmal zu weit in den Wattebausch hineinregen. Es fehlt dann gleichsam am Ende des Watterstäbchens ein Sicherheitspolster. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Wattestäbchen so auszubilden, daß seine Herstellung vereinfacht und verbiligt wird. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Wattestäbchen und besteht darin, daß das Stäbchen aus einem Kunststoffrohrstück mit im Profil-igerundeten, abgeschrägten od. dgl. Stirnflächenkanten besteht. Das Wattestäbchen gemäß der Erfindung ist einmal esh einfach in der Herstellung, ds die Massenherstellung der Kunststoffrohrstücke eingach ist. Dasgleichen hat sich überraschenderweise gezeigt, daß die Massenbewegung und Weiterverarbeitung dieser Kunststoffrohrstücke zu Wattenstäbchen in den dazugehörigen Transportmaschinen einwandfrei und mit großer Sicherheit durchzuführen ist. Insbesondere hat sich überraschenderweise gezeigt, daß die Kunststoffrohrstücke in den Verarbeitungsmaschinen stets die richtige Lage einnehmen und sie auch behalten, so daß beim Anbringen der Wattebäusche auch diese sich stets in der richtigen Lage befinden. Es ist also insbesondere auch stets ein genügend breiter Bereich von Watte in den Enden, der gleichsam als Sicherheitsbereich wirkt, und eine Verletzung des Benutzers durch die Enden des Kunststoffrohrstückes bei der Benutzung der Watterstäbchen verhindert.The invention is based on the object of designing a cotton swab in such a way that that its production is simplified and cheaper.
