Description
Beschreibung:Description:
Orthopädisches Muskeltrainingsgerät und Streckgerät für die Wirbelsäule.Orthopedic muscle training device and stretching device for the spine.
Orthopaedic relief and stretching device for the spine, with which the spine-stabilising muscle groups in the lumbar spine area can also be strengthened through training. The device consists of a foot frame and a support surface for the thighs with adjustable hold-down devices. The person lying in front of the device with their back on a support surface or on the floor can rock the support surface towards them in order to place their thighs on it and hold them firmly with a hold-down device for the feet. In this position, the hollow back is eliminated and the person can move their thighs forwards continuously without any outside help or energy and can also push them up using the rocking function. This allows the person to lift their back in the lumbar region more or less off the floor. A grid or continuously variable locking device and a brake mechanism with adjustable pressure and pull are attached between the frame foot and the height-adjustable support or directly to the frame foot joint. The locking mechanism is controlled mechanically by hand or foot pressure using an extension lever or electronically, so that the thigh support surface can be locked at any height and the person can relieve or stretch their back in the lumbar region in a comfortable and healthy physiological position. The braking mechanism is used to make it more or less difficult for the thighs to rock back and forth in order to train the back and pelvic muscles in an optimal position for the spine. In order to be able to push the rocker and thus the back up more easily, handles are attached to the base of the frame so that you can hold on.
The aim of the invention is to create a handy, simple device that improves and expands on the proven principle of the Perl 1 device for treating the lumbar spine. With the stretching boards, the stretching is also achieved using only the body's own weight, but the disadvantage is that it takes up a lot of space and its use is risky for people with unstable circulation.
In contrast to the back relief devices developed so far, the stretching or relief of the spine can be carried out without mechanical energy input (weight, lifting, etc.) and can be easily controlled using the rocking function and locking device. It can also be used as a back training device. This device can be set up at home in bed, on the floor or on the therapist's couch. Because it can be used as a healthy training device for the spine, it is well suited for the gym and for private use. For people who have major complaints and require medical treatment, it can also be easily equipped with an electric drive to enable continuous stretching with energy input.
