Die beiden seitlich verschiebbaren Teile a, b sind oben mit Rollen c auf einer Führungsschiene d aufgehängt. Diese Lenkeranordnung ist bei solchen Schiebetüren bekannt. Gemäß der Erfindung ist nun dem unteren, an α befindlichen Zapfen i der Schiene f eine Klinke k aufgesetzt, von der eine Stange / entlang der Schiene f nach oben läuft, die am oberen Ende einem Winkelhebel m angeschlossen *ist. Dieser greift bei geschlossener Tür (Fig. i) unter den Zapfen g, und alsdann ist die seitliche Verschiebung der Teile a, b nicht anders möglich, als daß man auf die Klinke k drückt. Hierdurch wird der Winkelhebel m nach links bewegt und sein längerer Arm außer Berührung mit dem Zapfen g gebracht, so daß sich nun die Schiene f dem Zapfen g entlang nach oben bewegen kann und die seitliche Verschiebung des Teiles α und des durch den Lenker h mit ihm verbundenen Teiles b erfolgt. Schließlich nehmen die Teile die Stellung der Fig. 2 ein, wo der Winkelhebel wieder unter den. Zapfen g tritt, so daß die Schiebetür auch in der Offenlage festgestellt ist! Um die Tür zu schließen, ist die Bewegung der Klinke k ebenso wie beim öffnen der Tür erforderlich.
