a lamp ( 2 ) surrounded by a hollow attachment body ( 4 ) with a mounting neck ( 6 ),
a lamp holder ( 14 ) for the support and the electrical connection of the lamp ( 2 ),
an electrical connection line ( 20 , 22 ) for the lamp ( 2 ) which is connected to the lamp socket ( 14 ),
a decorative cap ( 8 ) which surrounds the mounting neck ( 6 ) of the attachment body ( 4 ) and through which the electrical connection cable ( 20 , 22 ) runs,
a wire bracket ( 12 ) which is guided with its two spread free ends ( 126 ) into the attachment body ( 4 ),
wherein the distance between the two free wire bracket ends ( 126 ) is greater than the diameter of the mounting neck ( 6 ),
characterized in that
the lamp holder ( 14 ) ends at the end opposite the lamp ( 2 ) in a cylinder holder section ( 18 ) which has recesses or openings for the passage of the connecting cable ( 20 , 22 ),
an elastic tension securing ring ( 10 ) for the connecting cable is connected to the end of the cylinder mounting section ( 18 ) and the decorative cap ( 8 ),
wherein the wire bracket ( 12 ) is guided with its free ends ( 126 ) through the decorative cap ( 8 ) and has radially inwardly directed offset sections ( 122 ) on both sides such that it rests with these on the outside of the tension securing ring ( 10 ), and
wherein the wire bracket is further bent in its central region adjacent to the bend regions into a loop ( 128 ) pointing axially away from the illuminant.

2. Lamp according to claim 1, characterized in that the decorative cap ( 8 ) has two diametrically opposed holes ( 86 ) through which the two ends of the wire bracket are guided.

3. Luminaire according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that
the cylinder support section ( 18 ) has concentric outer grooves ( 182 ) which have axial grooves or slots for the passage of the connecting line ( 20 , 22 ), and the outer diameter of the cylinder support section ( 18 ) is substantially equal to the outer diameter of the lamp holder ( 14 ), and
a sleeve ( 24 ) surrounds the cylinder support section ( 18 ) and the lamp socket ( 14 ),
wherein the sleeve ( 24 ) has grooves on the inside opposite the outer grooves of the cylinder mounting section ( 18 ) which are offset in such a way that a locking fit of the sleeve results.

4. Lamp according to claim 5, characterized in that reinforcing ribs ( 184 ) are provided transversely to the concentric grooves of the cylinder mounting section ( 18 ), the radial outer surfaces of which serve as a stop surface for the grooves of the sleeve ( 24 ).

5. Lamp according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the tension securing ring ( 10 ) is provided on the outside with a circumferential groove in which the decorative cap sits.

Lamp according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the decorative cap ( 8 ) has an annular base region ( 82 ), with the inner edge of which it is held on the cylinder mounting section or the tension securing ring ( 10 ), and an upstanding collar ( 84 ) which is divided into bendable individual sections, the collar surrounding the mounting neck ( 6 ) of the attachment body ( 4 ) in a supporting manner.

Lamp according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the cylinder holder section ( 18 ) ends at its end opposite the lighting means ( 2 ) in a ball ( 188 ) extending from a central projection ( 186 ) which has two diametrically opposed slots or notches for receiving the connecting line ( 20 , 22 ) up to essentially the outer diameter of the projection, the free axial side of the ball ( 188 ) being approximately in the same plane as the outside of the tension securing ring ( 10 ) when the lamp is mounted.

8. Luminaire according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the lamp holder ( 14 ) and the cylinder holder section ( 18 ) are connected by a central axial pin body ( 16 ).

9. Lamp according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the attachment body ( 4 ) is a sphere made of transparent, colored material.

10. Luminaire according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the attachment body ( 4 ) is made of glass.

11. Luminaire according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the lamp holder ( 14 ) and/or the cylinder holder section ( 18 ) is made of plastic.

12. Lamp according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the decorative collar ( 8 ) is made of metal.

13. A chain of lights for use with mains voltage, comprising a number of series-connectable lamps connected in series.
