TRANSPORTEINHEIT AUS DAMMSTOFFPAKETEN
5TRANSPORT UNIT MADE OF INSULATION PACKAGES
5
The present invention relates to a transport unit made of insulation material packages for storage basket systems on scaffolding and a package made of two or more transport units.
Mineral wool products in the form of insulation boards are known from EP 0 728 124 Bl, for example, and have proven themselves in practice. To produce insulation boards, a glass melt is shredded into mineral wool using known processes, provided with binding agents and, if necessary, impregnating agents, and laid down to form a fleece. The fleece is then compacted and, if necessary, compressed and then cut into cuboid-shaped boards. Such insulation boards are used in particular for insulating purposes on building facades.
In these insulation panels, the mineral fibers run essentially parallel to the facade surface when installed, so that the compressive strength of the panels against forces acting perpendicular to the facade surface and also their tear resistance are not always satisfactory. In practice, it has therefore proven useful to use so-called lamella panels for facade insulation, which have a fiber orientation perpendicular to the main surface of the panels.
Weiterhin zeichnen sie sich durch eine einfache und schnelle Verarbeitbarkeit auf geradenWhen installed, such lamella panels have improved compressive strength against forces acting perpendicular to the facade surface and also increased tear resistance. They are also characterized by simple and quick processing on straight

Slatted panels are glued or glued and doweled onto the facade surfaces. This installation is usually carried out from scaffolding. In particular, the storage and transport of the panels pose a significant logistical problem. Due to their relatively large dimensions, the slatted panels require correspondingly large storage areas, which are often not available on construction sites. Storing the slatted panels directly on the running surfaces of the scaffolding brings with it disadvantages as well as the hoped-for advantages, since blocking the already small running surfaces can disrupt work processes on the scaffolding. For this reason, more recently the slatted panels have been offered to the processor in so-called storage basket systems, which are attached to the outside of the scaffolding. This leaves the running surfaces free and the processor has easy access to the slatted panels, which enables the slatted panels to be processed more quickly and economically.
The storage baskets are usually dimensioned so that their length is slightly longer than the length of the slatted panels used. The height of the storage baskets generally depends on the conditions of the scaffolding. In practice, storage baskets that are approximately the same length and height have proven to be effective. The base area of the storage baskets is approximately the same size as half a Euro pallet. The storage baskets are usually filled with stacks of slatted panels on the ground using sack barrows, pulled onto the scaffolding and hung there. Filling is conveniently done in a single operation.

In practice, various transport units for slatted panels are used. If the stack of slats is only loosely placed on a pallet the size of half a Euro pallet and is at most protected against the effects of the weather with a film cover, there is a risk that the stack of slats will break apart, especially when transported with a sack barrow. In addition, such a stack of slats does not have a high level of dimensional stability in the storage basket. Wrapping the entire stack with plastic film would increase the dimensional stability of the stack during transport, but this stability would be lost immediately as soon as even a single slatted panel is removed.
In practice, stacks of slat packs are also used that are additionally strapped with tensioning straps. This strapping increases the dimensional stability of the stack during transport on the sack barrow, but this stability is lost when the strapping is opened. In addition, additional measures must be taken to ensure that the tensioning straps do not damage the sensitive edges of the slat panels. Angle pieces made of metal or similar are often provided for this purpose. Another disadvantage here is that the tensioning straps and angle pieces have to be disposed of and incur additional costs.
The object of the present invention was therefore to provide a transport unit and a container which essentially avoid the disadvantages mentioned above.
This object is achieved with the features of the independent claims. The subclaims relate to preferred embodiments.

The subject of the present invention is a transport unit made of insulation packages for storage basket systems on scaffolding, in which the insulation packages contain a plurality of mineral wool lamella panels and are each provided with a covering made of plastic film, which is characterized in that the covered insulation packages are stacked flush on top of each other and are each partially connected to the transport unit with a pressure-sensitive adhesive in the region of their mutual contact surfaces.
In this transport unit, the mineral wool slatted panels are designed like strips, i.e. the length of these mineral wool slatted panels is significantly greater than their width and/or height. Mineral wool slatted panels of the following dimensions are commercially available: length approx. 1200 mm, width approx. 200 mm, height 40-120 mm, whereby mineral wool slatted panels of 80 or 100 mm height are preferred in today's commonly used thermal insulation composite systems. The mineral wool slatted panels are preferably made of rock wool.
The plastic film covering is preferably a shrink film covering, in particular biaxially stretched polyethylene film, which is shrunk onto the insulation packages by heating. Biaxially stretched polyethylene film with a thickness of approx. 40-50 µm is particularly suitable for this purpose.
Derartige Haftschmelzklebstoffe weisen generell eineThe pressure-sensitive adhesive used is preferably a hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive, in particular a hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive based on styrene/isoprene/styrene triblock copolymers, which is applied in the hot state, in particular sprayed on, and which develops its pressure-sensitive adhesive effect in the cooled state without, however, curing. Such pressure-sensitive hot-melt adhesives generally have a

The hot melt adhesive Lunainelt® PS 5418 from H.B. Fuller GmbH, D-21335 Luenenburg, has proven itself in practice.
The wrapped insulation packages are preferably stacked on top of each other with their large surfaces flush, with the pressure-sensitive adhesive being applied essentially in strips, centrally and in the longitudinal direction of the mutual contact surfaces of the insulation packages. Preferably, approximately 0.5 to 2.0 g of adhesive is used per adhesive strip.
In the transport unit according to the invention, up to 8, preferably 4 or 6 parallel aligned, aligned mineral wool lamella panels are provided per insulation package and 2 to 10, preferably 4 to 8 and in particular 5 or 6 insulation packages are connected to the transport unit.

The insulation packages thus obtained are moved on a conveyor belt under a nozzle, over which a strip of the pressure-sensitive hot melt adhesive Lunamelt® PS 5418 (HB Fuller GmbH, D-21335 Luenenburg) measuring approx. 250 mm long and 60 to 70 mm wide is sprayed lengthwise in the middle at approx. 150-170 0 C (approx. 0.5 to 2.0 g adhesive per strip). The individual insulation packages are machine-stacked on a Europallet in alignment.

stapelt. Jedes fünfte Dämmstoffpaket, d.h. das jeweils oberste Paket, erhält keinen Klebestreifen.Every fifth insulation package, i.e. the topmost package, does not receive an adhesive strip.
The finished transport units therefore have dimensions of approx. 1200 mm long, approx. 400 mm wide and approx. 1200 mm high. They do not fall apart even when tilted at an angle of approx. 45°, i.e. the insulation packages do not separate from one another due to the high static friction of the hot melt adhesive, while the topmost insulation package can easily be lifted off by hand because the separating force of the adhesive is low. The transport units are therefore well suited for loading with the help of a sack barrow and for easy processing on the scaffolding.
Two transport units are placed on each Europallet by machine so that their large surfaces are aligned next to each other. A biaxially stretched polyethylene film, approx. 40-50 µm thick, is then placed in the form of a film bag by machine over the two transport units and shrunk onto the transport units using hot air, which are then combined to form packages.
Insgesamt wiesen die Transporteinheiten und Gebinde dieselben Dimensionen auf wie in Beispiel 1.Analogous to example 1, packages were produced from two transport units each with 6 wrapped insulation packages stacked flush on top of each other and partially glued together in the area of their mutual contact surfaces, each with 2x2 lamella panels of approx. 100 mm thickness, approx. 1200 mm length and approx. 200 mm width. Overall, the transport units and packages had the same dimensions as in example 1.
