Claims (6)

1. Taschenlampe mit einem stabförmigen Gehäuse (10) und einem vorderen Lampenkopf (11), in dem eine Leuchtdiode angeord­ net ist und dessen ringförmiger Mantel mindestens eine, vorzugsweise mehrere beabstandete Durchbrechungen (20) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Leuchtdiode eine Hochleistungsdiode (16), vorzugs­ weise ein Diodenlaser, ist, der in einen Glaskörper (17) eingebettet ist, und daß mindestens eine der Durchbrechun­ gen (20) eine Strahldurchtrittsöffnung bildet, deren Flä­ chennormalen zwischen den Vertikalebenen liegt, die durch die Hochleistungsdiode (16) und das vordere Ende (18) des Glaskörpers (17) bestimmt ist.1.
