Die beiden in der Regel mit Sicken ausgeführten Rohrschellenhälften sind auf der dem Scharnier gegenüberliegenden Seite mit einer durch die an den freien Enden der Rohrschellenhälften angebrachten Laschen geführten Ringschraube zum Einklemmen der Regenfallrohre gegeneinander verspannbar. Die Rohrschellen für im Querschnitt rechteckige Regenfallrohre bestehen aus zwei U- förmigen Rohrschellenhälften, von denen die eine mit dem in das Gebäude einzuschlagenden Stift fest verbunden ist.
