Abstract

The invention relates to a method of reproducing an image (14) on a textile product (20). The inventive method comprises the following steps: stitching a section (10) of an image (14) onto the textile product (20). Durch Zusammenpressen der heißen Pressenteile 22 und 24 wird das Bild 14 auf die gestickte Kontur 10 übertragen. Die Pressenteile 22,24 werden über Führungen 26 über einen hydraulischen Antrieb 28, der in dieser Darstellung nur angedeutet wird, zusammengepreßt. Die Farben des Bildes 14 verbinden sich dauerhaft mit der gestickten Kontur 10. Die Farbmenge jedes Punktes der Punktmatrix muß hierbei so gewählt werden, daß durch das Erhitzen und Verbinden mit dem Garn ein optimales Verlaufen gewährleistet wird. Die Ausdehnung jedes Punktes der Punktmatrix füllt damit eine vorher bestimmte Fläche. a) a contour ( 10 ) of the image is embroidered onto the textile ( 20 ),
b) the image ( 14 ) is printed as a dot matrix from an image template on a transfer carrier ( 16 ),
c) the dot matrix is applied by the transfer carrier ( 16 ) to the embroidered image contour.

2. A method for imaging an image ( 14 ) on a textile ( 20 ) according to claim 1, characterized in that the contour is embroidered in one color.
