Dieser Flaschenverschluss besteht aus einem Gummistöpsel α aus Weichgummi, welcher mit
einer centralen Durchbohrung b versehen und am unteren Ende mit einem dichtschliefsenden
Gummibeutel c oder einem geschlossenen Sack aus anderem elastischen Material luftdicht
verbunden ist. Dieser Beutel c kann durch Aufblasen durch den hohlen Stöpsel α hindurch
gegen die innere Flaschenwand, welche zweckmäfsig kugelförmig erweitert ist, wie Fig. 4 zeigt,
angeprefst und zum Abschlufs des Flaschenhalses benutzt werden. Um die Luft in dem
gespannten Beutel zu halten, ist die Unterfläche des Stöpsels α mit einer Weichgummiplatte e
bedeckt, welche an den Seiten, aber nicht ringsum, an den Stöpsel angeklebt oder anderweitig
damit verbunden ist. Beim Aufblasen weicht diese Platte e genügend aus, um Luft in
den Beutel einzulassen, hält die untere Stöpselöffnung aber geschlossen, sobald von jenem ein
Ueberdruck stattfindet, ί ist ein Verschlufsstück
für die obere Mündung der Oeffnung b, welches verhindert, dafs Schmutz in den Beutel c gelangt.

Zum Oeffnen des Verschlusses genügt es, wenn man durch die Durchbohrung b hindurch
die Platte e mit Hülfe eines Stäbchens abwärts prefst, worauf die Luft durch b entweichen

Das Aufblasen kann bei gröfserem Betrieb zweckmäfsig von einer Luftpumpe aus erfolgen,
indem man durch einen Gummischlauch mit Hornspitze die Luft in die Oeffnung b hineinleitet.
