Bei diesen bekannten Fräskopfeinheiten erfolgt der Antrieb der Frässpindel durch einen in X-, Y-, Z-Richtung verstellbaren Spindelbalken hindurch über Zwischengetriebe, die die Schwenkbarkeit des Spindelkopfes und den Antrieb in jeder Winkelstellung gewährleisten. Die Kühl-/Schmierstoff- und Energiezuführung zur Spindel erfolgt über Drehdurchführungen und die Gehäusebauteile bestehen aus Stahl.
