Description

In diesem System geht es darum, dem Kunden genau diese in der Regel akustischen Sequenzen bereitzustellen, welche gerade gewünscht sind. Dieses können insbesondere Sprach, und Musik Sequenzen sein. Es ist aber auch vorstellbar, das in bestimmten Fällen zur Unterstützung oder Gesamtinformation Bilder oder Bildsequenzen bereitgestellt werden. Die Breitstellung der Sequenzen wird grob in Stationär und Mobil unterteilt.
Im Mobilen Bereich (z. B. KFZ) ist das System besonders geeignet, da nicht genügend Platz für ein Archiv vorhanden ist. Ferner ist es hier besonders wichtig, ohne Verkehrskonzentrationseinbußen zu erleiden, gewünschte Informationen einfach akustisch zu empfangen. Die Anforderung erfolgt z. B. per Menü oder aber auch durch Spracheingabe.
Der Heutige Stand der Technik bietet neben dem Radio, den qualitativ schlechteren Tape, im KFZ maximal einen CD-Wechsler mit bis zu 6 CD's. Das ist alles an individueller Aktistischer Sequenz. Durch das in diesem AOD System integrierte CD-Online, läßt sich dieser Engpaß auf unbegrenzte Kapazität erweitern. Es ist nicht mehr notwendig sich seine Wunsch CD's zu besorgen und in den Wechsler einzulegen. Im Idealfalle, kennt man den CD Titel, spricht diesen und es kann sofort gehört werden. Auf Wunsch sogar in Studio Qualität.
Es bestehen z.Z. noch Probleme in der Datenübertragung. Diese hohen erforderlichen Datenströme lassen sich nicht über mobile Netze übertragen. Hier besteht jedoch die Möglichkeit durch Kompressions-Verfahren wie MPEG oder andere und Kanalbündelung mit der Kombination der speziell entwickelten Endgeräteeinheit optimiert auf hohe Empfangsraten und geringe Senderaten, das System Funktionell zu ermöglichen, ohne ein Spezielles Netz aufzubauen.

Claims (6)

1. System insbesondere für Multimediadienste einschließlich eines Audio on Demand Dienstes (AoD).
Mit einer Servereinheit (Zentrale), einem Verteilernetz (in der Regel Terestich) und daran angeschlossene Teilnehmerendgeräte mit breitbandiger Empfangs und schmalbandiger Sendeeinheit vom Teilnehmer zur Zentrale dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede Teilnehmereinheit eine Sendeeinheit enthält, welche die zur Anforderung der Daten benötigte Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit unabhängig von bestimmten Standards, in ausreichender Geschwindigkeit zu Verfügung stellt.
2. Teilnehmereinheit, insbesondere für Mobile Multimediadienste einschließlich eines Audia on demand Dienstes, mit einer Empfangsstation zum Empfang hoher Datenmengen aus der Zentrale kommend über in der Regel mobile Netzen, dadurch gekennzeichnet daß auch gebündelte und/oder komprimierte Übertragungen empfangen und verwertet werden können. Im KFZ mir Radiokoppelung und als Händiähnliches Gerät z. B. mit Kopfhöhrerausgang. Im Stationären Bereich Endgerät wie CD-Player.
3. Zentrale, insbesondere für Multimediale Dienstes einschließlich eines Audio on demand Dienstes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, das Schmalbandige Anforderungen ausgewertet und die bestellten Sequenzen dem Netz zur Übertragung bereitgestellt werden.
4. Verfahren, insbesondere für Multimedia Dienste einschließlich eines Audio on Demand- Dienst (AoD), dadurch gekennzeichnet, das insbesondere breitbandige Daten über mobile Netze von der Zentrale (Server) zum Teilnehmer gelangen und schmalbandige Daten über diese Netze vom Teilnehmer zur Zentrale. Die Teilnehmer werden parallel bedient.
5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jeder Teilnehmereinrichtung mindestens ein hin und ein Rückkanal zugeordnet ist, mit jeweils der Bandbreite, die erforderlich ist.
6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, das die Zentrale auch über Aufforderung der Endgeräte in der Lage ist, die Datenströme, Kanäle und Netzbedingungen dynamisch anzupassen und in den Endeinrichtungen Updates durchzuführen, welche z. B. eine verbesserte Dekompression bzw. Restauration ermöglichen.
