Abstract

The inbuilt ejector seats are ejected when the rotor blades are separated from the main rotor by in-blade charges triggered on seat release. The charges are installed in cavities in the blades and resist both pressure and tension. The explosive charges can also be mounted on the joints of the rotor blades.

Description

In jet-powered military aircraft, ejection seats are used to save the Crew used in emergency situations for years. Helicopters will Possibility of preserving human life has so far been denied because of use of Ejection seats due to the rotor blades of the Main rotor is prevented.

The invention specified in claim 1 is based on the problem, the rise to allow the ejection seats in helicopters and the security of civil and increase military aviation.

This problem is solved by the rescue system listed in claim 1.

The advantage achieved with the invention is mainly that the rotor blades in Emergency (coupled with the release of the ejection seat) can be blown up and so the free ascent of the ejection seat is made possible. This can then be conventional Ascend and safely bring the pilot (s) to the ground on a parachute.

Another possible embodiment is specified in claims 2 and 3. This allow adaptation to different main rotor types.

An embodiment of the invention is described in the figure and is in following described in more detail.

Rescue system for helicopter crews with separation of the main rotor blades, characterized in that the firing of the ejection seats belonging to the system by the separation of the main rotor blades, caused by (coupled to the triggering of the ejection seats) detonated explosive devices in the individual rotor blades separate the rotor blades from the main rotor and thereby free the trajectory of the ejection seats from the obstacle. 2. Rescue system for helicopter crews with separation of the main rotor blades according to claim 1, characterized, that the rotor blades by embedded in the cavities of the respective rotor blade stable (tensile and pressure stable) explosive device can be separated. 3. Rescue system for helicopter crews with separation of the main rotor blades according to claim 1, characterized, that the rotor blades through on the joints of the main rotor blade attachment brought stable (tensile and pressure stable) explosive device are separated.
