Zum Besuch von virtuellen Welten sind verschiedene
Laufmaschinen Stand der Technik. Dazu zählt ein Laufband,
welches in kartesischen Koordinaten arbeitet und eine
Bewegung in alle Richtungen ermöglicht (US 5,562,572), dazu
lassen nicht jede Bewegung zu.There are different ways to visit virtual worlds

Die Erfindung ermöglicht eine voll funktionsfähige,

cheaper walking machine.
(Fig. 5), so folgt eine einfachere Anordnung.
(H1c, H2c, H3c, H4c) in Storchschnabelform sinnvoll. Dabei
Schlitze (Z2c, Z3c) die Form von Kreisbogen (Fig. 8, Fig. 9).The walking machine ( Fig. 1) has two foot platforms (F1, F2), which are always arranged point-symmetrically to each other, this is the novelty. The assumption is made that the user's center of gravity remains approximately always in the same place and that each foot moves the same distance from the center of gravity, but opposite to the other. If the user lifts a foot and moves it forward, "his" foot platform (F1) follows him sensor-controlled until he sits down again on the foot platform. Since the two foot platforms are always point-symmetrical to each other, the other foot platform (F2) automatically moves back and pulls "its" foot on it with it, so that the user's center of gravity remains unchanged. Just as the floor keeps its direction in the real world, the foot platforms must keep their direction around the vertical axis when they move ( Fig. 2). A belt arrangement (R1, R2) serves this purpose. There is a fixed axis (S1) in the middle of the walking machine. A belt (R1) is placed around this, which reaches a pulley (S2) along a lever. The lever ensures a fixed distance between the axle (S1) and the pulley (S2). Since the axle is non-rotatable in the middle, the pulley (S2) maintains its direction even when the lever turns. In the same way, another belt (R2) is placed around the pulley (S2), which then reaches the center of the foot platform (F1) and is placed there around a pulley (S3), which is connected to the foot platform in a rotationally fixed manner. Using the same principle as the first strap, the foot platform now maintains its direction even when both levers move. In this way, the belts can run along any number of levers. The foot platforms can be moved by levers or rails. These are each driven by two drive shafts in the middle of the running machine. A cover is required so that the user cannot step between the levers in the event of a malfunction. This cover is located above the lever mechanism, but below the treads of the foot platforms. A rod goes down from the foot platform, through a slot in the cover under the cover, where it is driven. Different shapes for the slots are useful. If a lever, on which a foot platform is located, is connected to the cover in an articulated manner, the shape for the slot (Za, Z2c, Z3c) is the circular arc along which the platform moves. If the rail with which the platform moves is firmly connected to the cover or is identical to the cover, the slot (Zb) is a straight line for a foot platform. This can also be the case if the cover (A1c) is freely rotatable in the middle and is not connected to a lever (H1c, H2c, H3c, H4c) or rail. The arrangement of two parallel straight lines (Zb, Z1c) with the spacing equal to the diameter of a foot platform is of particular importance, since in this case the cover does not have to be rotated during straight running. In this arrangement, the two inner levers (H1c, H3c) are driven through the center by a shaft and a hollow shaft. The foot platform (F1) is fastened by the two outer levers (H2c, H4c) which are articulated to the ends of the inner levers and are jointly fastened to the foot platform, one of the two levers (H2c) being connected to the foot platform in a rotationally fixed manner. emotional. This rolls on wheels on the floor. The cover has the greatest moment of inertia of the arrangement. A sensible design of the levers is such that when a step is carried out, the levers only move in one direction, since this results in lower inertial forces ( FIG. 3). A lever (H1a) is curved and extends to the edge of the walking machine. Another lever (H2a) is articulated to this, at the end of which there is a foot platform. This allows both foot platforms to swing past each other. The curved lever (H1a) is mainly for movements that correspond to cornering. The swinging movement, which is mainly used for straight running, is driven by two further levers, the lever (H3a) from the center, at the end of which another lever (H4a) is attached, which is articulated to the lever (H2a), on which the foot platform is attached. If a cover (Aa) is used ( Fig. 4), this can take over the function of the lever (H1a) from the center, which mainly carries out the movement for cornering. If the two levers (H1a, H2a) are replaced by a rail (Nb) ( Fig. 5), a simpler arrangement follows. The levers (H3a, H4a) for the swinging movement become shorter (H1b, H2b). For this, the foot platforms can no longer roll on the floor, but must be hung on a cover (Ab). The slots (Zb) in the cover are straight in this case, so that the cover does not have to be rotated when running straight. If the foot platforms should roll on the floor and there should be two parallel slots (Z1c) in the cover (A1c) so that the cover does not rotate when walking straight ahead, the arrangement of the levers (H1c, H2c, H3c, H4c) in the form of a cranesbill makes sense. However, the foot platform (F1) slides in the slot (Z1c) and is not guided. In this case, the center of the foot platform should not be attached to the junction of the two outer levers (H2c, H4c), since the wheels under the foot platform cannot be between the two levers (H2c, H4c). If the cover (A2c, A3c) is firmly connected to levers (H1c, H3c), the slots (Z2c, Z3c) have the shape of an arc ( Fig. 8, Fig. 9).
