Die erfindungsgemäße Ein­ richtung betrifft eine Technologie, bei der die einzelnen Leiterplatten mittels durchgehender Nuten aufgeteilt sind und nur durch kurze Verbindungsstege zusammengehalten werden. Zum Vereinzeln der Leiterplatten ist es erforderlich, die Ver­ bindungsstege zwischen den Leiterplatten rückstandsfrei und schonend abzutrennen. Damit beim Heraustrennen der Verbin­ dungsstege möglichst keine Reste stehen bleiben, muß die Breite des Matrizenspaltes und die Dicke des Trennmessers der jeweiligen Nutbreite angepaßt sein. Aus trenntechnischen Gründen ist es jedoch erforderlich, daß zwischen dem Trenn­ messer und den einen Matrizenspalt bildenden Teilen der Ma­ trize jeweils ein bestimmter Schneidspalt vorhanden ist. Da aber zum Antrieb des Trennmessers vorzugsweise Pneumatikzy­ linder verwendet werden, deren Kolben nicht verdrehgesichert sind, kann es vorkommen, daß sich das Trennmesser im Matri­ zenspalt etwas um seine Längsachse verdreht. Dadurch können die Schneidkanten der Messerhaken auf die spaltbildenden Kan­ ten der Matrize auflaufen. Dies führt zu Beschädigungen bzw. zu einem vorzeitigen Verschleiß am Trennmesser und der Matri­ ze.
