Abstract
When welding metals with arc, spot, oxy-fuel, seam or fusion welding processes, great heat and strong radiation are released. Eye damage and burns must be prevented with protective devices. DOLLAR A The gravity-closing radiation protection visor can be closed and opened without contact. It is mounted on a protective helmet or worn as an independent construction on the head. A circumferential rail or a central bearing enable a Viesier rotation by 360 degrees around the head of the welder. Provided with an additional weight that is attached under the visor, the protective visor can be operated with movements of the head in horizontal or vertical direction, without contact and without outside help. Workpieces can thus be fixed and welded by one person without the need for outside help. The radiation protection visor can always be opened and closed by shifting the center of gravity. DOLLAR A The gravity-closing radiation protection visor can be used in industrial, craft and private areas.
Description
When welding metals, there is great heat and strong radiation released. The welder's face must be protected to prevent health hazards avoid. With conventional welding goggles or Protective shields held in front of the face by hand or need to be pushed, that's not enough possible. Protective helmets to fold down the visors are not contact-free due to the design serve. This often forces the welder correctly fixed workpieces, to be tacked unprotected first because good visibility and both hands are required. Only then can the heavily darkened visor be closed will be. Furthermore, these constructions have the Disadvantage that they are constantly dirty, oily Gloves must be handled.
It is known that there are radiation protection visors that freehand using a Bowden cable in or out of Ge field of view of the user can be pivoted (DE-GM 18 61 610). The beam known to the experts protective visor, as shown in DE-GM 18 61 610 however operated mechanically by means of a Bowden cable and is not, like the subject of the application, without mechanical Actuating means only and exclusively by Close and open gravity.
The invention has for its object a beam protective visor to create that without mechanical actuation must be closed and opened hands-free.
The task is with the specified in claim 1 Invention solved. Embodiments of the invention are in the subclaims 2 to 6 indicated.
Thanks to the gravity-closing radiation protection visor it is possible that the user is at the exact moment the visor by head movement and non-contact can close when he starts welding would like without the position of the hands and arms must be changed. More precise work is now possible and health hazards can be completely eliminated prevent.
