Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß das Walzband kontinuierlich hintereinander in einer durchlaufenden Behandlungslinie gebeizt, kaltgewalzt und verzinkt wird. Durch die vorteilhafte Kopplung des Kaltwalzprozesses mit dem Beiz- und Verzinkungsprozeß in einer durchlaufenden Linie entfällt das bisher notwendige, zeitaufwendige und teure Coilhandling zwischen dem Kaltwalzwerk und der Verzinkungsanlage. Dadurch erhöht sich einerseits die Produktionskapazität der gesamten Behandlungsanlage, andererseits wird der Personalbedarf verringert.
