Abstract

The transport system is for a reel (7) of material supported on a central spindle (8). There is a normal or standard pallet (1) which forms the base of the assembly and which has bearing support brackets (2) connected by a carrying axle or cross-shaft at one end. Description

In the transport pallet according to the invention the pallet (1) is arranged a supported by two bearing consoles (2) supporting shaft (3) on a narrow side, are pivotally mounted and axially displaceable on the two supporting arms (4).

Then the two support arms ( 4 ) are swiveled up until the clamping pins ( 6 ) are in the area of the winding tubes ( 8 ) and the support arms on the support axis ( 3 ) can be pushed close to the material roll ( 7 ).

Then the two clamping pins ( 6 ) are moved in the elongated holes ( 5 ) until they are firmly against the inside of the winding tubes ( 8 ).

Then the two lashing straps ( 9 ) are attached with their eyelets to the tensioning spigot ( 6 ) and firmly lashed using the known clamping devices.

The roll of material is thus securely lashed onto the pallet and can be safely and without damage and can be transported without the use of environmentally harmful fasteners.

The material roll is unloaded from the pallet in the reverse order like loading the pallet as described above.

For the return transport of empty pallets, the support arms ( 4 ) are placed flat on the pallet and lashed down with the lashing straps ( 9 ).
