Korrosionsschutzmantel, insbesondere für erdverlegte MetallrohreCorrosion protection jacket, especially for underground metal pipes
Insbesondere geben solche Schutzmäntel bei erhöhten TemperaturenThe innovation relates to a multi-layer corrosion protection jacket for pipes and pipe-like objects, especially for underground metal pipes such. B. for the steel pipes the gas, water and oil pipes as well as for the pressure pipes of electrical cable systems. The most commonly used so far Corrosion protection jackets consist of bitumen-soaked fiberglass or textile tapes. As far as textile straps are used for this are, they have the disadvantage that they easily absorb moisture and rot, which gives a risk of corrosion is. In addition, none of these tapes are mechanically very strong. Other well-known anti-corrosion jackets made from Plastic, such as B. polyvinyl chloride or polyethylene, seamlessly in one or more layers on the object to be protected pressed on or sintered on or applied in tape form and wound offer better protection against moisture. But they are also for many cases, e.g. B. for laying in stony ground, mechanically insufficiently resistant. In particular, such protective jackets give at elevated temperatures

Weiterhin kann sich der Kunststoffmantel auf dem Metallrohr bei Erwärmung auf Grund der unterschiedlichen Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizienten leicht verschieben. even with static pressure. Furthermore, the plastic jacket on the metal pipe when heated due to the Slightly shift different coefficients of thermal expansion.
According to the innovation, the corrosion protection coat consists of at least one '■> inner layer made of thermoplastic or thermoelastic Plastic and at least one outer layer made of glass fiber impregnated with casting resin. In general, they are less so Hard and less heat-resistant inner layers essentially have the task of preventing moisture from penetrating to prevent the object to be protected while the More heat-resistant and at the same time tough, hard and therefore very impact- and abrasion-resistant outer layers mechanical damage keep away from the inner layers and ensure the moisture protection of the inner layers even at high temperatures. This effect is reinforced by the fact that the outer layers When the resin contained in them cures, the inner layers between them and the base shrink Clamp immovably. Overall, a corrosion protection coat is created, which remains effective even under very rough laying and working conditions, even with a low overall thickness. A Another advantage is that the new protective sheath can be dyed easily and permanently, since it consists essentially of cast resin outer layers are transparent in themselves and therefore have a coloring of the thermoplastic or thermoelastic synthetic

If the corrosion protection jacket is constructed with at least two inner layers, the lower or lower inner layers adjacent to the surface to be protected are advantageously made of softer plastic and the upper or upper of the above-mentioned fit inner layers are made of harder plastic, for example the lower one made of softened polyvinyl chloride and the upper one made of low-plasticizer or plasticizer-free hard polyvinyl chloride. All of these layers can be pressed seamlessly or wound from tape, with an overlapping winding made from self-adhesive tapes being preferred in the latter case.
The outer layers of the corrosion protection jacket containing the fiberglass are preferably made of fiberglass fabric tape impregnated with cast resin. This ensures better cohesion guaranteed as loosely embedded glass fibers. Also recommends here it makes sense to arrange at least two layers. The lower or lower of these outer layers advantageously contain a loose, d. H. fraught with more space and consequently better absorbent fabric tape for the casting resin, on the one hand to ensure a sufficient minimum layer thickness and in order, on the other hand, to achieve better bonding to the inner layers due to the higher resin content of these layers, while the top or top outer layers contain a dense and smooth fabric tape to create a smoother and particularly hard outer surface to achieve the anti-corrosion coating. At the same time, this structure of the inner layers ensures good longitudinal water

The steel pipe 1 is initially provided with a conventional paint coating 2, which can also be missing. A layer 3 made of plasticized polyvinyl chloride and a layer follow as inner layers 4 made of rigid polyvinyl chloride, the latter of which is colored. These layers are both made of self-adhesive tape with an overlap wrapped. But they can also be sintered on or pressed seamlessly, for example with a screw injection molding machine. About this the outer layers 5 and β are made of fiberglass fabric tape, the is impregnated with polyester resin with the addition of a suitable hardener, wound, namely the layer 5 using a loosely woven, fluffy, well absorbent and layer 6, which forms the outer surface of the .Schutzmantels, using a tightly woven, smooth glass silk ribbon.
