Es besteht aus einem außenseitigen sowie einem innenseitigen Metallprofil 1, 2, wobei die beiden Metallprofile 1, 2 unter Bildung einer Wärmedämmbrücke durch Isolierstege 3 miteinander verbunden sind. Durch die Unterteilung des Fußes 4 mittels des Spaltes 13 erfährt jeder Teil des Fußes 4 etwa nur die Hälfte an Schrumpfung. Da die beiden Teile des Fußes 4 in jeweils eigenen, durch den Steg 14 gebildeten Taschen der Aufnahmenut 5 angeschlossen sind, wird darüber hinaus auf Grund der vergrößerten gegenseitigen Anlagefläche eine erhöhte Festigkeit erreicht.
