Description
Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung von Polyolpoly-12-hydroxystearaten zur Dispergierung von
Pigmenten in Ölphasen sowie die Verwendung eines Konzentrates auf Basis der Polyolpoly-12-hy
droxystearate zur Herstellung von dekorativen kosmetischen Zubereitungen
Zur Herstellung von lagerstabilen Zubereitungen von Feststoffen in flüssigen, pastösen oder gar festen
Zubereitungen werden üblicherweise Dispergatoren eingesetzt, die eine Sedimentation bzw. Trennung
der Komponenten dauerhaft verhindern sollen. Als Dispergiermittel werden häufig fette Öle wie
beispielsweise Ricinus-, Soja- oder Sonnenblumenöl eingesetzt. In der Praxis zeigt sich jedoch, daß die
dispergierende Wirkung dieser Stoffe nicht ausreichend ist. Die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung hat
somit darin bestanden, diesem Nachteil abzuhelfen und Pigmentdispergatoren zur Verfügung zu
stellen, die sich durch eine verbesserte Lagerstabilität in den Endformulierungen auszeichnen.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist die Verwendung von Polyolpoly-12-hydroxystearaten als Pigmentdis
pergatoren.
Überraschenderweise wurde gefunden, daß sich unter Verwendung der genannten Stoffe besonders
lagerstabile, d. h. gegen Sedimentation geschützte Dispersionen von Pigmenten vorzugsweise in Öl
phasen erhalten lassen.
Die im Sinne der Erfindung einzusetzenden Dispergatoren leiten sich von Polyolen ab, die über min
destens zwei, vorzugsweise 3 bis 12 und insbesondere 3 bis 8 Hydroxylgruppen und 2 bis 12 Koh
lenstoffatome verfügen. Typische Beispiele sind:
- (1) Glycerin,
- (2) Alkylenglycole, wie beispielsweise Ethylenglycol, Diethylenglycol, Propylenglycol, Polyglycerin;
- (3) Methyolverbindungen, wie insbesondere Trimethylolethan, Trimethylolpropan, Trimethylolbutan, Pentaerythrit und Dipentaerythrit;
- (4) Alkyloligoglucoside mit 1 bis 22, vorzugsweise 1 bis 8 und insbesondere 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffen im Alkylrest, wie beispielsweise Methyl- und Butylglucosid;
- (5) Zuckeralkohole mit 5 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen, wie beispielsweise Sorbit oder Mannit,
- (6) Zucker mit 5 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen, wie beispielsweise Glucose oder Saccharose;
- (7) Aminozucker, wie beispielsweise Glucamin.
Unter den Dispergatoren kommt Umsetzungsprodukten auf Basis von Polyglycerin wegen ihrer ausge
zeichneten anwendungstechnischen Eigenschaften eine besondere Bedeutung zu. Als besonders vor
teilhaft hat sich die Verwendung von ausgewählten Polyglycerinen erwiesen, die die folgende Homo
logenverteilung aufweisen (in Klammern angegeben sind die bevorzugten Bereiche; Oligoglycerine
jeweils ad 100 Gew.-%):
Glycerin: 5 bis 35 (15 bis 30) Gew.-%
Diglycerine: 15 bis 40 (20 bis 32) Gew.-%
Triglycerine: 10 bis 35 (15 bis 25) Gew.-%
Tetraglycerine: 5 bis 20 ( 8 bis 15) Gew.-%
Pentaglycerine: 2 bis 10 ( 3 bis 8) Gew.-%
Glycerin: 5 bis 35 (15 bis 30) Gew.-%
Diglycerine: 15 bis 40 (20 bis 32) Gew.-%
Triglycerine: 10 bis 35 (15 bis 25) Gew.-%
Tetraglycerine: 5 bis 20 ( 8 bis 15) Gew.-%
Pentaglycerine: 2 bis 10 ( 3 bis 8) Gew.-%
Die Herstellung der Polyolpoly-12-hydroxystearate kann in an sich bekannter Weise erfolgen. Im Fall
der Polyglycerinpolyhydroxystearate wird dabei vorzugsweise zunächst das Polyglycerin und dann die
Polyhydroxystearinsäure hergestellt und schließlich beide verestert. Die Herstellung eines Polyglycerins
der oben genannten Zusammensetzung kann durch Eigenkondensation von Glycerin in Gegenwart von
geeigneten Katalysatoren wie beispielsweise Kaliumcarbonat, Silicaten oder Boraten bei Temperaturen
im Bereich von 200 bis 260°C durchgeführt werden. Die Herstellung der Polyhydroxystearinsäure
erfolgt beispielsweise durch alkalisch katalysierte Polykondensation von 12-Hydroxystearinsäure, die
durch Härtung von Ricinolsäure bzw. technischer Ricinusölfettsäure gewonnen wird. Vorzugsweise
werden dabei lineare Veresterungsprodukte mit 2 bis 10 und insbesondere 2 bis 8 Fettsäureeinheiten
gebildet. Typischerweise wird die folgende Verteilung (GPC-Methode) erreicht (Oligomere ad 100
Gew.-%):
Monomere: 1 bis 10 Gew.-%
Dimere: 5 bis 15 Gew.-%
Trimere: 5 bis 15 Gew.-%
Tetramere: 5 bis 15 Gew.-%
Pentamere: 5 bis 15 Gew.-%

In einer besonderen Ausführungsform der Erfindung werden Gemische von 12-Hydroxystearinsäure
und Ricinolsäure bzw. technischer Ricinusölfettsäure, die zu etwa 90 Gew.-% aus Ricinolsäure besteht,
im Gewichtsverhältnis 99 : 1 bis 1 : 99 und vorzugsweise 75 : 25 bis 10 : 90 eingesetzt. In gleicher Wei
se ist es möglich, die Säuren einzeln zu kondensieren und anschließend die Kondensate abzumischen.
Bei der nachfolgenden Kondensation der Polyolkomponente, beispielsweise des Polyglycerins mit der
Poly-12-hydroxystearinsäure bzw. den Gemischen mit Polyricinolsäure, wird eine komplexe Mischung
homologer Polyester gebildet. Die Anteile an Mono-, Di-, Tri- und Oligoestern in den erfindungsge
mäßen Polyolpoly-12-hydroxystearaten und vorzugsweise Polyglycerinpoly-12-hydroxystearaten richtet
sich nach den Einsatzverhältnissen der Ausgangsverbindungen [vgl. DE-A1 44 20 516 (Henkel)].
Unter dem Begriff Pigmente sind Feststoffe zu verstehen, die weder in hydrophilen noch in lipophilen
Solventien wie z. B. Wasser oder Pflanzenölen unter Normalbedingungen hinreichend löslich sind. Ty
pische Beispiele für Pigmente, die im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung in Betracht kommen, sind alle
Arten von Farbstoffen, wie sie vorzugsweise im Bereich der dekorativen Kosmetik, also beispielsweise
für die Formulierung von festen Zubereitungen wie beispielsweise Lippenstiften, Pudern, Lidschatten,
aber auch flüssigen bzw. pastösen Formulierungen wie etwa Nagellacken, Sonnenschutzmitteln, Tö
nungscremes, Wundschutzcremes und dergleichen Verwendung finden. Die Verwendung ist jedoch
nicht allein auf den Bereich kosmetischer Zubereitungen eingeschränkt, sondern gilt ganz allgemein,
beispielsweise auch für die Herstellung von Dispersionsfarben, bei denen Farbpigmente wie etwa
Titandioxid dispergiert werden müssen. Üblicherweise werden die Pigmente und die Dispergatoren im
Gewichtsverhältnis 20 : 1 bis 5 : 1 und vorzugsweise 10 : 1 bis 8 : 1 eingesetzt.
In einer besonderen Ausgestaltung der Erfindung werden die Pigmente unter Verwendung der
Dispergatoren in einer Ölphase dispergiert. Als Ölkörper kommen beispielsweise Guerbetalkohole auf
Basis von Fettalkoholen mit 6 bis 18, vorzugsweise 8 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, Ester von linearen C₆-
C₂₂-Fettsäuren mit linearen C₆-C₂₂-Fettalkoholen, Ester von verzweigten C₆-C₁₃-Carbonsäuren mit
linearen C₆-C₂₂-Fettalkoholen, Ester von linearen C₆-C₂₂-Fettsäuren mit verzweigten Alkoholen, ins
besondere 2-Ethylhexanol, Ester von linearen und/oder verzweigten Fettsäuren mit mehrwertigen
Alkoholen (wie z. B. Dimerdiol oder Trimerdiol) und/oder Guerbetalkoholen, Triglyceride auf Basis C₆-C₁₀-Fettsäuren, pflanzliche Öle, verzweigte primäre Alkohole, substituierte Cyclohexane, Guer
betcarbonate, Dialkylether, Siliconöle und/oder aliphatische bzw. naphthenische Kohlenwasserstoffe in
Betracht. Üblicherweise beträgt der Anteil der Pigmente an den ölhaltigen Endformulierungen 0,01 bis 1
und vorzugsweise 0,1 bis 0,5 Gew.-%.
Im Sinne der Erfindung werden unter Verwendung der Polyolpoly-12-hydroxystearate Dispersionen von
Pigmenten erhalten, die auch bei längerer Lagerung keine Tendenz zur Sedimentation zeigen. Die Dis
pergatoren eignen sich daher zur Herstellung beispielsweise von kosmetischen bzw. pharmazeutischen
Zubereitungen wie beispielsweise Lippenstiften, Lidschatten, Pudern, Nagellacken, Sonnenschutz
mitteln, Tönungscremes, Wundschutzsalben und dergleichen, in denen sie in Mengen von 0,01 bis 30
und vorzugsweise 0,1 bis 10 Gew.-% - bezogen auf die Mittel - enthalten sein können.
Ein weiterer Gegenstand der Erfindung betrifft in einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform die Verwendung
von konzentrierten Zubereitungen, enthaltend
- (a) 5 bis 50, vorzugsweise 10 bis 30 Gew.-% Polyolpoly-12-hydroxystearate,
- (b) 5 bis 50, vorzugsweise 10 bis 30 Gew.-% Ölkörper
- (c) 1 bis 10, vorzugsweise 2 bis 8 Gew.-% Fettalkohole
- (d) 10 bis 75, vorzugsweise 25 bis 50 Gew.-% natürliche Wachse,
mit der Maßgabe, daß sich die Mengenangaben gegebenenfalls mit weiteren üblichen Hilfs- und
Zusatzstoffen zu 100 Gew.-% addieren, als Dispergiermittel zur Herstellung von dekorativen kosme
tischen Zubereitungen, wie beispielsweise Make-up′s, Schminken, Lippenpomaden oder Lippenstiften.
Die genannten Zubereitungen können ferner als weitere Hilfs- und Zusatzstoffe milde Tenside,
Emulgatoren, Überfettungsmittel, Stabilisatoren, Wachse, Konsistenzgeber, Verdickungsmittel, Kation
polymere, Siliconverbindungen, biogene Wirkstoffe, Antischuppenmittel, Filmbildner, Konservierungs
mittel, Hydrotrope, Solubilisatoren, UV-Lichtschutzfilter, Insektenrepellentien, Selbstbräuner, Farb- und
Duftstoffe enthalten.
Typische Beispiele für geeignete milde, d. h. besonders hautverträgliche Tenside sind Fettalkoholpoly
glycolethersulfate, Monoglyceridsulfate, Mono- und/oder Dialkylsulfosuccinate, Fettsäureisethionate,
Fettsäuresarcosinate, Fettsäuretauride, Fettsäureglutamate, Ethercarbonsäuren, Alkyloligoglucoside,
Fettsäureglucamide, Alkylamidobetaine und/oder Proteinfettsäurekondensate, letztere vorzugsweise
auf Basis von Weizenproteinen.
Als Emulgatoren kommen beispielsweise nichtionogene Tenside aus mindestens einer der folgenden
Gruppen in Frage:
- (1) Anlagerungsprodukte von 2 bis 30 Mol Ethylenoxid und/oder 0 bis 5 Mol Propylenoxid an lineare Fettalkohole mit 8 bis 22 C-Atomen, an Fettsäuren mit 12 bis 22 C-Atomen und an Alkylphenole mit 8 bis 15 C-Atomen in der Alkylgruppe;
- (2) C12/18-Fettsäuremono- und -diester von Anlagerungsprodukten von 1 bis 30 Mol Ethylenoxid an Glycerin;
- (3) Glycerinmono- und -diester und Sorbitanmono- und -diester von gesättigten und ungesättigten Fettsäuren mit 6 bis 22 Kohlenstoffatomen und deren Ethylenoxidanlagerungsprodukte;
- (4) Alkylmono- und -oligoglycoside mit 8 bis 22 Kohlenstoffatomen im Alkylrest und deren ethoxy lierte Analoga;
- (5) Anlagerungsprodukte von 15 bis 60 Mol Ethylenoxid an Ricinusöl und/oder gehärtetes Ricinusöl;
- (6) Anlagerungsprodukte von 2 bis 15 Mol Ethylenoxid an Ricinusöl und/oder gehärtetes Ricinusöl;
- (7) Partialester auf Basis linearer, verzweigter, ungesättigter bzw. gesättigter C12/22-Fettsäuren, Ricinolsäure sowie 12-Hydroxystearinsäure und Glycerin, Polyglycerin, Pentaerythrit, Dipenta erythrit, Zuckeralkohole (z. B. Sorbit), Alkylglucoside (z. B. Methylglucosid, Butylglucosid, Lauryl glucosid) sowie Polyglucoside (z. B. Cellulose);
- (8) Trialkylphosphate;
- (9) Wollwachsalkohole;
- (10) Polysiloxan-Polyalkyl-Polyether-Copolymere bzw. entsprechende Derivate;
- (11) Mischester aus Pentaerythrit, Fettsäuren, Citronensäure und Fettalkohol gemäß DE-PS 11 65 574 und/oder Mischester von Fettsäuren mit 6 bis 22 Kohlenstoffatomen, Methylglucose und Polyolen, vorzugsweise Glycerin sowie
- (12) Polyalkylenglycole.
Die Anlagerungsprodukte von Ethylenoxid und/oder von Propylenoxid an Fettalkohole, Fettsäuren,
Alkylphenole, Glycerinmono- und -diester sowie Sorbitanmono- und -diester von Fettsäuren oder an
Ricinusöl stellen bekannte, im Handel erhältliche Produkte dar. Es handelt sich dabei um Homologen
gernische, deren mittlerer Alkoxylierungsgrad dem Verhältnis der Stoffmengen von Ethylenoxid und/oder
Propylenoxid und Substrat, mit denen die Anlagerungsreaktion durchgeführt wird, entspricht.
C12/18-Fettsäuremono- und -diester von Anlagerungsprodukten von Ethylenoxid an Glycerin sind aus
DE-PS 20 24 051 als Rückfettungsmittel für kosmetische Zubereitungen bekannt.
C8/18-Alkylmono- und -oligoglycoside, ihre Herstellung und ihre Verwendung als oberflächenaktive Stof
fe sind beispielsweise aus US 3,839,318, US 3,707,535, US 3,547,828, DE-OS 19 43 689, DE-OS 20
36 472 und DE-A1 30 01 064 sowie EP-A 0 077 167 bekannt. Ihre Herstellung erfolgt insbesondere
durch Umsetzung von Glucose oder Oligosacchariden mit primären Alkoholen mit 8 bis 18 C-Atomen.
Bezüglich des Glycosidrestes gilt, daß sowohl Monoglycoside, bei denen ein cyclischer Zuckerrest gly
cosidisch an den Fettalkohol gebunden ist, als auch oligomere Glycoside mit einem Oligomerisa
tionsgrad bis vorzugsweise etwa 8 geeignet sind. Der Oligomerisierungsgrad ist dabei ein statistischer
Mittelwert, dem eine für solche technischen Produkte übliche Homologenverteilung zugrunde liegt.
Weiterhin können als Emulgatoren zwitterionische Tenside verwendet werden. Als zwitterionische
Tenside werden solche oberflächenaktiven Verbindungen bezeichnet, die im Molekül mindestens eine
quartäre Ammoniumgruppe und mindestens eine Carboxylat- und eine Sulfonatgruppe tragen.
Besonders geeignete zwitterionische Tenside sind die sogenannten Betaine wie die N-Alkyl-N,N-dimethylammoniumglycinate,
beispielsweise das Kokosalkyldimethylammoniumglycinat, N-Acylamino
propyl-N,N-dimethylammoniumglycinate, beispielsweise das Kokosacylaminopropyldimethylammonium
glycinat, und 2-Alkyl-3-carboxylmethyl-3-hydroxyethylimidazoline mit jeweils 8 bis 18 C-Atomen in der
Alkyl- oder Acylgruppe sowie das Kokosacylaminoethylhydroxyethylcarboxymethylglycinat. Besonders
bevorzugt ist das unter der CTFA Bezeichnung Cocamidopropyl Betaine bekannte Fettsäureamid-Derivat.
Ebenfalls geeignete Emulgatoren sind ampholytische Tenside. Unter ampholytischen Tensiden
werden solche oberflächenaktiven Verbindungen verstanden, die außer einer C8/18-Alkyl- oder -Acyl
gruppe im Molekül mindestens eine freie Aminogruppe und mindestens eine -COOH- oder -SO₃H-Gruppe
enthalten und zur Ausbildung innerer Salze befähigt sind. Beispiele für geeignete ampho
lytische Tenside sind N-Alkylglycine, N-Alkylpropionsäuren, N-Alkylaminobuttersäuren, N-Alkyliminodi
propionsäuren, N-Hydroxyethyl-N-alkylamidopropylglycine, N-Alkyltaurine, N-Alkylsarcosine, 2-Alkyl
aminopropionsäuren und Alkylaminoessigsäuren mit jeweils etwa 8 bis 18 C-Atomen in der Alkyl
gruppe. Besonders bevorzugte ampholytische Tenside sind das N-Kokosalkylaminopropionat, das
Kokosacylaminoethylaminopropionat und das C12/18-Acylsarcosin. Neben den ampholytischen kommen
auch quartäre Emulgatoren in Betracht, wobei solche vom Typ der Esterquats, vorzugsweise methyl
quaternierte Difettsäuretriethanolaminester-Salze, besonders bevorzugt sind.
Als Überfettungsmittel können Substanzen wie beispielsweise Lanolin und Lecithin sowie
polyethoxylierte oder acylierte Lanolin- und Lecithinderivate, Polyolfettsäureester, Monoglyceride und
Fettsäurealkanolamide verwendet werden, wobei die letzteren gleichzeitig als Schaumstabilisatoren
dienen.
Als Konsistenzgeber kommen in erster Linie Fettalkohole mit 12 bis 22 und vorzugsweise 16 bis 18
Kohlenstoffatomen in Betracht. Typische Beispiele sind Capronalkohol, Caprylalkohol, 2-Ethylhexylal
kohol, Caprinalkohol, Laurylalkohol, Isotridecylalkohol, Myristylalkohol, Cetylalkohol, Palmoleylalkohol,
Stearylalkohol, Isostearylalkohol, Oleylalkohol, Elaidylalkohol, Petroselinylalkohol, Linolylalkohol, Lino
lenylalkohol, Elaeostearylalkohol, Arachylalkohol, Gadoleylalkohol, Behenylalkohol, Erucylalkohol und
Brassidylalkohol sowie deren technische Mischungen, die z. B. bei der Hochdruckhydrierung von techni
schen Methylestern auf Basis von Fetten und Ölen oder Aldehyden aus der Roelen′schen Oxosynthese
sowie als Monomerfraktion bei der Dimerisierung von ungesättigten Fettalkoholen anfallen. Bevorzugt
sind technische Fettalkohole mit 12 bis 18 und insbesondere 16 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen wie bei
spielsweise Kokos-, Palm-, Palmkern- Cetearyl- oder Talgfettalkohol. Bevorzugt ist eine Kombination
dieser Stoffe mit Alkyloligoglucosiden und/oder Fettsäure-N-methyl-glucamiden gleicher Kettenlänge.
Geeignete Verdickungsmittel sind beispielsweise Polysaccharide, insbesondere Xanthan-Gum, Guar-Guar,
Agar-Agar, Alginate und Tylosen, Carboxy-methylcellulose und Hydroxyethylcellulose, ferner hö
hermolekulare Polyethylenglycolmono- und -di-ester von Fettsäuren, Polyacrylate, (z. B. Carbopole®
von Goodrich oder Synthalene® von Sigma), Polyacrylamide, Polyvinylalkohol und Polyvinylpyrrolidon,
Tenside wie beispielsweise ethoxylierte Fettsäureglycende, Ester von Fettsäuren mit Polyolen wie
beispielsweise Pentaerythrit oder Trimethylolpropan, Fettalkoholethoxylate mit eingeengter
Homologenverteilung oder Alkyloligoglucoside sowie Elektrolyte wie Kochsalz und Ammoniumchlorid.
Geeignete kationische Polymere sind beispielsweise kationische Cellulosederivate, wie z. B. ein
quaternierte Hydroxyethylcellulose, die unter der Bezeichnung Polymer JR 400® von Amerchol erhält
lich ist, kationische Starke, Copolymere von Diallylammoniumsalzen und Acrylamiden, quaternierte
Vinylpyrrolidon/Vinyl-imidazol-Polymere wie z. B. Luviquat® (BASF), Kondensationsprodukte von Poly
glycolen und Aminen, quaternierte Kollagenpolypeptide wie beispielsweise Lauryldimonium hydroxy
propyl hydrolyzed collagen (Lamequat®L/Grünau), quaternierte Weizenpolypeptide, Polyethylenimin,
kationische Siliconpolymere wie z. B. Amidomethicone, Copolymere der Adipinsäure und Dimethyl
aminohydroxypropyldiethylentrimamin (Cartaretine®/Sandoz), Copolymere der Acrylsäure mit Dime
thyldiallylammoniumchlorid (Merquat® 550/Chemviron), Polyaminopolyamide wie z. B. beschrieben in
der FR-A 22 52 840 sowie deren vernetzte wasserlöslichen Polymere, kationische Chitinderivate wie
beispielsweise quaterniertes Chitosan, gegebenenfalls mikrokristallin verteilt, Kondensationsprodukte
aus Dihalogenalkylen wie z. B. Dibrombutan mit Bisdialkylaminen wie z. B. Bis-Dimethylamino-1,3-propan,
kationischer Guar-Gum wie z. B. Jaguar® CBS, Jaguar® C-17, Jaguar® C-16 der Celanese,
quaternierte Ammoniumsalz-Polymere wie z. B. Mirapol® A-15, Mirapol® AD-1, Mirapol® AZ-1 der
Miranol.
Geeignete Siliconverbindungen sind beispielsweise Dimethylpolysiloxane, Methyl-phenylpolysiloxane,
cyclische Silicone sowie amino-, fettsäure-, alkohol-, polyether-, epoxy-, fluor- und/oder alkylmodifizierte
Siliconverbindungen, die bei Raumtemperatur sowohl flüssig als auch harzförmig vorliegen können.
Typische Beispiele für Fette sind Glyceride, als natürliche Wachse kommen pflanzliche Wachse wie
beispielsweise Candelillawachs, Carnaubawachs, Japanwachs, Espartograswachs, Korkwachs,
Guarumawachs, Reiskeimölwachs, Zuckerrohrwachs, Ouricurywachs und/oder Montanwachs sowie
tierische Wachse wie beispielsweise Bienenwachs, Schellackwachs, Walrat, Wollwachs und/oder
Bürzelfett gegebenenfalls in Kombination mit hydrophilen Wachsen, z. B. Cetylstearylalkohol oder
Partialglyceriden in Frage. Als Perlglanzwachse können insbesondere Mono- und Difettsäureester von
Polyalkylenglycolen, Partialglyceride oder Ester von Fettalkoholen mit mehrwertigen Carbonsäuren
bzw. Hydroxycarbonsäuren verwendet werden. Als Stabilisatoren können Metallsalze von Fettsäuren
wie z. B. Magnesium-, Aluminium- und/oder Zinkstearat eingesetzt werden. Unter biogenen
Wirkstoffen sind beispielsweise Tocopherol, Tocopherol-acetat, Tocopherolpalmitat, Ascorbinsäure,
Retinol, Bisabolol, Allantoin, Phytantriol, Panthenol, AHA-Säuren, Pflanzenextrakte und Vitaminkomplexe
zu verstehen. Als Antischuppenmittel können Climbazol, Octopirox und Zinkpyrethion
eingesetzt werden. Gebräuchliche Filmbildner sind bei spielsweise Chitosan, mikrokristallines
Chitosan, quaterniertes Chitosan, Polyvinylpyrrolidon, Vinyl-pyrrolidon-Vinylacetat-Copolymensate, Po
lymere der Acrylsäurereihe, quaternäre Cellulose-Derivate, Kollagen, Hyaluronsäure bzw. deren Salze
und ähnliche Verbindungen.
Unter UV-Lichtschutzfiltern sind organische Substanzen zu verstehen, die in der Lage sind, ultra
violette Strahlen zu absorbieren und die aufgenommene Energie in Form längerwelliger Strahlung, z. B.
Wärme wieder abzugeben. Typische Beispiele sind 4-Aminobenzoesäure sowie ihre Ester und Derivate
(z. B. 2-Ethylhexyl-p-dimethylaminobenzoat oder p-Dimethylaminobenzoesäureoctylester), Methoxy
zimtsäure und ihre Derivate (z. B. 4-Methoxyzimtsäure-2-ethylhexylester), Benzophenone (z. B. Oxyben
zon, 2-Hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenon), Dibenzoylmethane, Salicylatester, 2-Phenylbenzimidazol-5-
sulfonsäure, 1-(4-tert.Butylphenyl)-3-(4′-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1,3-dion, 3-(4′-Methyl)benzylidenbor
nan-2-on, Methylbenzylidencampher und dergleichen. Weiterhin kommen für diesen Zweck auch
feindisperse Metalloxide bzw. Salze in Frage, wie beispielsweise Titandioxid, Zinkoxid, Eisenoxid,
Aluminiumoxid, Ceroxid, Zirkoniumoxid, Silicate (Talk) und Bariumsulfat. Die Partikel sollten dabei ei
nen mittleren Durchmesser von weniger als 100 nm, vorzugsweise zwischen 5 und 50 nm und ins
besondere zwischen 15 und 30 nm aufweisen. Sie können eine sphärische Form aufweisen, es können
jedoch auch solche Partikel zum Einsatz kommen, die eine ellipsoide oder in sonstiger Weise von der
sphärischen Gestalt abweichende Form besitzen. Neben den beiden vorgenannten Gruppen primärer
Lichtschutzstoffe können auch sekundäre Lichtschutzmittel vom Typ der Antioxidantien eingesetzt wer
den, die die photochemische Reaktionskette unterbrechen, welche ausgelöst wird, wenn UV-Strahlung
in die Haut eindringt. Typische Beispiele hierfür sind Superoxid-Dismutase, Tocopherole (Vitamin E)
und Ascorbinsäure (Vitamin C).
Zur Verbesserung des Fließverhaltens können ferner Hydrotrope wie beispielsweise Ethanol,
Isopropylalkohol, Propylenglycol oder Glucose eingesetzt werden. Als Konservierungsmittel eignen
sich beispielsweise Phenoxyethanol, Formaldehydlösung, Parabene, Pentandiol oder Sorbinsäure. Als
Insekten-Repellentien kommen N,N-Diethyl-m-touluamid, 1,2-Pentandiol oder Insect repellent 3535 in
Frage, als Selbstbräuner eignet sich Dihydroxyaceton. Als Farbstoffe können die für kosmetische
Zwecke geeigneten und zugelassenen Substanzen verwendet werden, wie sie beispielsweise in der
Publikation "Kosmetische Färbemittel" der Farbstoffkommission der Deutschen Forschungsge
meinschaft, Verlag Chemie, Weinheim, 1984, S. 81-106 zusammengestellt sind. Diese Farbstoffe
werden üblicherweise in Konzentrationen von 0,001 bis 0,1 Gew.-%, bezogen auf die gesamte Mi
schung, eingesetzt.
Der Gesamtanteil der Hilfs- und Zusatzstoffe kann 1 bis 50, vorzugsweise 5 bis 40 Gew.-% - bezogen
auf die Mittel - betragen. Die Herstellung der Mittel kann durch übliche Kalt- oder Heißprozesse
erfolgen; vorzugsweise arbeitet man nach der Phaseninversionstemperatur-Methode.
10 g eines Pigmentfarbstoffs (300045 D Red No. 30, Williams) wurden in 90 g Poly-glycerinpoly-12-hydroxystearate
(Dehymuls® PGPH, Henkel KGaA) dispergiert und die Dispersionen 2 min im Ultra
Turrax homogenisiert. Anschließend wurden jeweils 0,5 bzw. 1 g der Dispersionen in 99,5 bzw. 99 g
Cetearyl Isononanoate (Cetiol® SN, Henkel KGaA) hergestellt. Nach einer Lagerzeit von 24 h zeigten
beide Dispersionen noch keine Sedimentation.
Die Beispiele 1 und 2 wurden wiederholt, anstelle des Polyglycerinpoly-12-hydroxystearats jedoch eine
gleiche Menge Ricinusöl als Dispergator eingesetzt. Nach einer Lagerzeit von 24 h waren beide
Dispersionen vollständig sedimentiert.
Claims (7)
1. Verwendung von Polyolpoly-12-hydroxystearaten als Pigmentdispergatoren.
2. Verwendung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Polyglycerinpoly-12-hydroxy
tearate einsetzt.
3. Verwendung nach den Ansprüchen 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Farbstoffpig
mente dispergiert.
4. Verwendung nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Pigmente in
einer Ölphase dispergiert.
5. Verwendung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Ölkörper einsetzt, die ausge
wählt sind aus der Gruppe, die gebildet wird von Guerbetalkoholen auf Basis von Fettalkoholen mit
6 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen, Estern von linearen C₆-C₂₂-Fettsäuren mit linearen C₆-C₂₂-Fettalko
holen, Estern von verzweigten C₆-C₁₃-Carbonsäuren mit linearen C₆-C₂₂-Fettalkoholen, Estern von
linearen C₆-C₂₂-Fettsäuren mit verzweigten Alkoholen, Estern von linearen und/oder verzweigten
Fettsäuren mit mehrwertigen Alkoholen und/ oder Guerbetalkoholen, Triglyceriden auf Basis C₆-C₁₀-Fettsäuren,
pflanzlichen Ölen, verzweigten primären Alkoholen, substituierten Cyclohexanen,
Guerbetcarbonaten, Dialkylethern, Siliconölen und/oder aliphatischen bzw. naphthenischen Koh
lenwasserstoffen.
6. Verwendung von konzentrierten Zubereitungen, enthaltend
- (a) 5 bis 50, vorzugsweise 10 bis 30 Gew.-% Polyolpoly-12-hydroxystearate,
- (b) 5 bis 50, vorzugsweise 10 bis 30 Gew.-% Ölkörper
- (c) 1 bis 10, vorzugsweise 2 bis 8 Gew.-% Fettalkohole
- (d) 10 bis 75, vorzugsweise 25 bis 50 Gew.-% natürliche Wachse,
mit der Maßgabe, daß sich die Mengenangaben gegebenenfalls mit weiteren üblichen Hilfs- und
Zusatzstoffen zu 100 Gew.-% addieren, als Dispergiermittel zur Herstellung von dekorativen kos
metischen Zubereitungen.
