Verfahren zum Abtrennen des Angusses von einem Spritzgießteil, insbesondere von einer Informationsträgerscheibe, wobei das Angußteil nach dem Spritzgieß- und Abkühlvorgang mit dem Spritzgießteil einstü­ ckig verbunden ist und durch anschließendes Abtrennen des Angußteils von dem Spritzgießteil in diesem eine entsprechende Öffnung erzeugt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Öffnung (20-22, 25) zum überwiegenden Teil ihrer axialen Erstreckung bzw. der Scheibendicke durch Spritzgießen hergestellt wird und das Abtrennen des Angußteils (2, 9, 15, 24) vom Spritzgießteil (1, 8, 14, 23) im Bereich des restlichen Teils der axialen Erstreckung der Öffnung (20-22, 25) außerhalb des Spritzgießwerkzeugs mittels eines Lasers (6, 7, 12, 13, 19) erfolgt.1.
