Abstract

Cork and/or cellulose are added to dried clay to form a structural member. The cork may be in the form of a flour and/or grains of up to 1 cm diameter. Expanded or unexpanded cork may be used. Cellulose is preferably in the form of short fibres, of one to a few mm in size and may be impregnated with stone flour.

Description

A component of this type is e.g. B. from the straw-clay technique for building Walls or as a filler in ceilings and floors. As an independent Components such as B. building blocks or panels, such components are not in satisfactorily stable and manageable.

In der DE 83 21 426 U1 ist vorgeschlagen, in die Kammern eines Hohlblocksteines Isolierplatten aus Naturkork oder Korkholz einzubringen.DE 83 21 426 U1 proposes in the chambers of a hollow block Insert insulation panels made of natural cork or cork wood.

The invention has for its object a component of the beginning Provide given type that is independently stable and easy to handle, whereby  only natural ingredients used and high building biological requirements achievements are fulfilled.

This object is achieved with the features of claim 1. So after that is provided that the additional materials include cork shot and / or cellulose. Experiments by the inventor have shown that the three Components clay, cork shot and cellulose are a stable building block or one can produce stable plate with air drying, in the z. B. fastening screws can be easily screwed in durable. Depending on whether more value Soundproofing or heat insulation is placed, the proportion of clay in wide limits can be varied as long as the binding function of the clay is maintained remains. The component not only offers good strength, but can also be easy to process and shows a beautiful, finished surface that no longer plastered must become. This also makes it quick and inexpensive to build enables. The component fulfills all the good properties that apply to building biology a wall / ceiling building material must be provided: thermal insulation and storage, Heat radiation (inwards), heat absorption (solar energy), diffusion (moisture activity), breathing (air exchange), hygroscopicity (moisture balance). The format the stones can largely be freely chosen, which is a gentle one Pressing process in production. In addition to plates come e.g. B. a solid stone or a stone with air chambers in question.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are set forth in the dependent claims give. The cork meal can be in the form of flour or coarser grains of e.g. B. to to be added to a cm diameter. Depending on the desired severity Expanded cork or unexpanded cork can be added, with expanded cork for the Thermal insulation and unexpanded cork for sound insulation is cheaper.

The cellulose usually consists of treated paper particles which, for. B. means Hammering into short threads of the order of a few mm are processed loosely related. Finely chopped wood can also be used. The Cellulose can be impregnated with rock flour (e.g. borax) and is therefore practical not flammable. The cellulose serves as a filling material and also as a binder.

Possible uses for the specified components arise, for. B. in the wooden stand and half-timbered construction, since clay and wood work very well together are tolerated. The components are also suitable for subsequent insulation in the old building sector. Non-load-bearing partitions can be opened with the building blocks be built. The components can be easily sawn and drilled, e.g. B. Use sockets or form pipe breakthroughs.
