Die Stangen werden in Längsrichtung bewegt und gedreht, um so den Kickerball abzubremsen und zum anderen um ihn durch Schuß voranzubringen. Dabei prallt der Ball an der aus Holz oder aus Kunststoff bestehenden Spielerfigur ab, ohne daß der einzelne Spieler, der die Spielerfigur bewegt, diesen Auf prall bzw. Abprall beeinflussen kann. Bei Holzfiguren sind diese mit Farbe versehen, um so auch die beiden Mannschaften voneinander unterscheiden zu können. Bei aus Kunststoff bestehenden Spielerfiguren werden einzelne Teile der einzelnen Figur aus unterschiedlich farbigem Kunststoff zusammengesetzt, wobei unabhängig vom Werk stoff der Spielerfiguren diese in der Regel über im Brustbereich verlaufende Halte schrauben an der Spielerstange befestigt sind. Nachteilig bei diesen bekannten Fußball kickergeräten ist, daß abgesehen von der Farbgebung eine Identifizierung der Spielerfi guren nicht möglich ist. Nachteilig ist außerdem, daß Spieler weder beim Abwehren noch beim Abschießen des Kickerballes Einfluß auf den Verlauf oder die Flugbahn des Balles nehmen können.
