Abstract

The vehicle door comprises a hollow member fixed to the inner door panel and extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. Rigid polyurethane foam provides support inside the hollow member. In the transverse direction of the vehicle the hollow member (8) is easily deformable and has beads (11) running in the longitudinal direction.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kraftfahrzeugtür gemäß dem Oberbe­ griff des Patentanspruchs 1.The invention relates to a motor vehicle door according to the Oberbe handle of claim 1.

Der hier interessierende Bereich einer derartigen Tür ist in ei­ nem Vertikalschnitt in Fig. 1 dargestellt. Die Tür ist zusammen­ gesetzt aus einem Türaußenblech 1 und einem Türinnenblech 2, die beide einen Schacht 3 zur Aufnahme einer verschiebbaren Fenster­ scheibe 4 begrenzen. Auf der dem Schacht 3 abgewandten Seite des Türinnenbleches 2 ist ein Träger 5 befestigt, der entweder als offenes Profil auf das Türinnenblech 2 aufgesetzt ist und zusam­ men mit diesem wie ein geschlossener Hohlträger wirkt oder schon als Hohlträger auf das Türinnenblech 2 gesetzt ist. Der Träger 5 gewährleistet, daß die Tür zunächst nach einem Frontalaufprall des Fahrzeugs unter vorgegebenen Bedingungen funktionsfähig bleibt, das heißt, sie wird in ihrem Ausschnitt nicht einge­ klemmt, so daß sie sich dann zumindest noch öffnen läßt. Der Trä­ ger 5 wird in seiner Funktion unterstützt von einem ihn zum Fahr­ zeuginnenraum hin abdeckenden Formblock 6 aus Hartschaum, der seinerseits von einer Türverkleidung 7 verdeckt ist. Zwar ist das aus Träger 5 und Formblock 6 gebildete Trägersystem dazu ausge­ legt, die sicherheitsrelevanten Bedingungen im Zusammenhang mit einem Frontalcrash zu erfüllen, doch läßt es sich auch dazu her­ anziehen, die Auflagen bei einem Seitencrash einzuhalten. Es ist leicht einzusehen, daß dazu das Trägersystem modifiziert werden muß. Dabei ist es sicher naheliegend, die Dicke des Formblocks 6 so zu vergrößern, daß die bei einem Seitencrash einzuhaltenden Beschleunigungswerte erreicht werden. Diese Lösung erfordert je­ doch - bei vorgegebenen äußeren Abmessungen des Fahrzeugs - Zuge­ ständnisse an die Fahrzeuginnenraumbreite, das heißt, die Sei­ tencrash-Bedingungen sind nur zu erfüllen, wenn man in Kauf nimmt, daß sich die Fahrgastraumbreite deutlich verringert, was natürlich den Komfort beeinträchtigt.The area of interest of such a door is shown in a vertical section in FIG. 1.
