langsam hin- und schnell zurückschwingenden, sich drehenden Kreismesser.
Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht darin, daß das Messer selbst während des Schneidganges
eine raschere Drehbewegung um seine eigene Achse ausführt als beim Rückgang. Hierdurch wird die Schneidkraft der Maschine
erhöht und erreicht, daß die Maschine so rasch schneidet, wie wenn die Schneide sowohl

Die Grundplatte 1 ist mit einem aufwärts reichenden Rahmen 7 versehen, welcher das Getriebe für die Schneidvorrichtung usw. trägt. Der Rahmen 7 ist verbreitert und auf einer Seite mit einer Öffnung 8 versehen, durch welche das Schneidgut von dem Zuführungsschlitten geschoben wird. Die Unterkante der Öffnung 8 liegt mit dem den Zuführungsschlitten tragenden Tisch- 5 in. einer Wagerechten, ist mit einem nach außen stehenden wagerechten Flansch 9 aus hartem Stahl versehen und bildet jene Fläche, gegen welche das sich drehende Messer beim Schneiden wirkt. Seitlich von der Öffnung 8 ist der Rahmen. 7 mit einem Arm 10 versehen, in welchem die Welle 11 gelagert ist, die auf der Innenseite des Armes IO ein Triebrad 12 trägt. An der Außenseite des Armes 10 ist die Welle 11 mit einem Kurbelrade 13 versehen, das mittels des Handgriffes 14 gedreht wird, um das Messer zu bewegen. Der Arm 10 ist oben mit dem aufwärts reichenden gekrümmten Ansatz 15 versehen (Fig. 2), in dem eine Welle 16 gelagert ist-, auf die an der Außenseite des Ansatzes ein Zahnrad 17 aufgekeilt ist, das in das Triebrad 12 eingreift. Das Zahnrad 17 trägt auf seiner Innenseite ein größeres Zahnrad 18, das mit einem Trieb- rad 19 in Eingriff steht, welches lose auf der Welle 20 sitzt. Die Welle 20 (Fig. 3) ist in einem länglichen Lager 21 gelagert, das einen Teil des oberen Endes des Rahmens 7 bildet.
