Das Aufschließen von Phosphatmehl zu Superphosphat geschah bisher derart, daß bestimmte Mengen von Phosphatmehl und Säure in einem geschlossenen Gefäß gemischt und dann in einen Keller abgelassen wurden. Als Schleuderkörper kann z. B. eine ebene oder konische Scheibe, Fächerwalze, Schlägerwalze o. dgl. angewendet werden. Die Säure feuchtet das Mehl an und mischt sich mit ihm, und das entstandene Gemisch, in dem sofort die Aufschließung beginnt, wird von dem Schienderkörper fortdauernd in dünner Schicht mechanisch im Keller herumgestreut, in welchem die Aufschließung beendet wird.
