Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Presse, die dazu dient, Schuhwerk in der Weise zu besohlen, daß die Sohle, nachdem sie selbst oder die Unterfläche des Schuhes oder Stiefels mit Klebstoff bestrichen ist, auf die genannte . Unterfläche aufgepreßt wird. Diese Presse ist mit zwei nachgiebigen Backen versehen, von denen die obere die Form besitzt, welche die Sohle nach dem Aufpressen haben soll. Während bei den bekannten Pressen dieser Art der Druck auf die ganze Unterfläche des Stiefels wirkt, so daß eine Hackenstütze erforderlich ist, die in_u den Stiefel eingreift und auf welcher der Leisten befestigt werden muß,, wirkt er beim Erfindungsgegenstand nur auf den Vorderteil genannter Unterfläche, . d. i. auf die eigentliche Sohle, und es ist daher keine in das Innere der Schuhform eingreifende Hackenstütze erforderlich, sondern es genügt ein verschiebbares, den Hacken von außen stützendes Widerlager, um ein Herausgleiten des Stiefels aus den Preßbacken nach hinten zu verhindern.
