The glue press according to the invention has a stand 1, in the upper part of which the press cushion: 2 with the drive device is accommodated. A housing 3 is provided in front of the lower part of the stand, in which the device according to the invention for the optional setting of a desired pair of strips is arranged. In the illustrated embodiment, a drum 5 is rotatably mounted on an axis 4 by means of the ball bearings 6. This drum is designed as a polygon, e.g. B. as a hexagon, trained. On each surface of the polygonal drum there are sockets 7, in which a strip 8 and 9, d. H. a pair of strips that can be used detachably.
A detent disk 10 is connected to the drum and has notches 11 corresponding to the number of polygon sides of the drum. A tappet 12 can engage in these notches, which, in the embodiment shown, can be actuated by means of the handlebar 13 by means of a control lever 14 which is mounted at 15 on a bracket 16. Depending on the requirements, the desired pair of strips can be brought into the effective area of the cushion 2. The workpiece carrier can also be designed to be pivotable.
The part occupied by the pairs of strips can also be a disk that can be rotated about a vertically arranged axis. You can also use a slide that can be moved back and forth.
The pillow 2, which has a layered structure expediently made of soft foam, e.g. B. foam rubber, or a foam made of plastic and a harder material, for. B. leather is supported by means of the pin 17 in a sleeve 18 replaceable. It is driven by a hydraulically operated piston 19 which can be acted upon by a pressure medium and which can be moved in the cylinder 20. The guide rods 21, which are guided in the bearings 22, serve to guide the cushion 2.
The hydraulic mechanism can be operated by means of the lever 23.
According to a particularly expedient embodiment of the invention, the press cushion 2 is articulated on the press tool. For this purpose, the inherently rigid press cushion plate 35 is connected to a deformable disc, plate, or the like 34 via bolts 30. The ends of the bolts O are firmly connected to the parts 34 and 35 and are evenly distributed on a circle concentric to the center of the disk. The z. B. made of hard rubber fabric disc 34 has in the middle an opening or a hub 36, which z to a movable part of the pressing tool. B. a plunger pin 17a has a distance. The parts 34, 17a can, for.
B. be separated by a circular gap. The disk 34 is connected to a further rigid upper disk 31 via further upwardly extending bolts 32 which are spaced apart from one another as well as from the bolts 30, thereby creating an articulated arrangement. If the piston is acted upon and the plunger pin 17a, a connecting rod or the like goes downwards, the press cushion 2 can be inclined as a result of the unevenness of the footwear, since the disk 34 is made of flexible material and a cant at one or more points on the circumference allows. On the other hand, this tilting, which can be 100 to the horizontal or even more, is not hindered because there is a gap between the disk hub and the plunger pin.
As a result, the sole is pressed more evenly onto the bottom of the shoe and there is an even contact pressure on all partial cross-sections of the adhesive surface. Nevertheless, this pivotable arrangement of the press cushion on the press tool is robust and has a long service life.
