Die Erfindung betrifft eine Stopfbüchsendichtung für das Glasrohr von Wasserstandszeigern und besteht darin, daß innerhalb der Überwurfmutter ein Ringteil beweglich mittels Kugeln auf einem zweiten, mit zwischengelegtem Dichtungsring auf dem Hahnkopf ruhenden Ringteil gelagert ist. Wenn dann beim Anziehen der Überwurfmutter der erstgenannte Ringteil von der Mutter mitgenommen wird, wird der auf dem Hahnkopf ruhende Ringteil infolge der Reibung gegen den Dichtungsring festgehalten, so daß dieser fest gegen die Wandung der Glasröhre gepreßt und ein sicherer dampfdichter Ver-Schluß an dieser Stelle erreicht wird.The invention relates to a gland seal for the glass tube of water level indicators and consists in that a ring part movable by means of within the union nut Balls on a second, with an interposed sealing ring on the tap head resting ring part is mounted.
