Druckregleranschlussverschraubung
Bei Propangasanlagen, besonders welche für den Gebrauch im Haushalt bestimmt sind, wird der erforderliche Druckregler, gewöhnlich mittels einer Holländerverschraubung mit dem Flaschenventil verbunden. Diese Anschlussart verlangt aber besondere Fachkenntnis und erfordert Kraftanwendung. Ausserdem besteht die Gefahr, dass das Gewinde der Holländerverschraubung bei unsachgemässer Handhabung zerstört wird. Die Dichtheit dieser Verschraubungsart hängt daher nicht nur vom Zustand der üblichen Flachdichtung ab.
Gemäss der vorliegenden Erfindung wird der Übelstand dadurch behoben, dass der Druckregler mit einem kolbenförmigen Ansatz versehen ist, der in die Anschlussbohrung des Flanschenventiles auf eine Tiefe passend eingeführt wird, welche mindestens dem 1, 5fachen Durchmesser der Bohrung gleich ist und welcher am Umfang in bekannter Weise, durch einen eingelassenen Dichtungsring abgedichtet ist. Durch die folgende Beschreibung im Zusammenhang mit der beigefügten Zeichnung, wird die Erfindung näher erläutert.
In beiliegender Zeichnung sind das Flaschenventil i und der Druckregler a in Ansicht und die Verbindung derselben im Schnitt dargestellt. In den Druckregler a ist der Holländerschaft b eingeschraubt an dessen anderm Ende ein Halteflansch c für die Holländermutter d angeordnet und in der Bohrung ein Gewinde e vorgesehen ist. In dieses Gewinde e wird ein kolben- förmiger Ansatz 1 gas dicht eingeschraubt. An diesem kolbenförmigen Ansatz 1 ist eine Nut g ausgenommen, welche eine Kolbendichtung h aufnimmt. Dieser kolbenförmige Ansatz 1 mit der Dichtung h wird zum Zwecke des Anschlusses an das Flaschenventil i in dessen Bohrung j eingeführt und die Holländermutter d wird auf das Gewinde k des Flaschenventils aufgeschraubt.
Der in der Propangasflasche befindliche Druck presst die elastische Kolbendichtung auf die Kante der Nut und gleichzeitig auf die Anschlussbohrung des Flaschenventils wodurch eine sichere gasdichte Verbindung hergestellt wird.

In propane gas systems, especially those intended for household use, the required pressure regulator is usually connected to the cylinder valve by means of a Dutch screw connection. However, this type of connection requires special expertise and the application of force. There is also the risk that the thread of the Dutch screw connection will be destroyed if handled improperly. The tightness of this type of screw connection therefore not only depends on the condition of the usual flat gasket.
According to the present invention, the deficiency is remedied in that the pressure regulator is provided with a piston-shaped extension, which is inserted into the connection bore of the flanged valve to a depth which is at least 1.5 times the diameter of the bore and which is known around the circumference Way, is sealed by a recessed sealing ring. In the accompanying drawing, the cylinder valve i and the pressure regulator a are shown in a view and the connection thereof in section. The Dutch shank b is screwed into the pressure regulator a at the other end of which a retaining flange c for the Dutch nut d is arranged and a thread e is provided in the bore. A piston-shaped extension 1 is screwed gas-tight into this thread e. In this piston-shaped extension 1, a groove g is excluded, which receives a piston seal h. This piston-shaped extension 1 with the seal h is inserted into the bore j of the cylinder valve i for the purpose of connection, and the Dutch nut d is screwed onto the thread k of the cylinder valve.
The pressure in the propane gas cylinder presses the elastic piston seal onto the edge of the groove and, at the same time, onto the connection hole of the cylinder valve, creating a secure, gas-tight connection.
