Zusatz zum Patente 145413 vom 22. April 1902.Addendum to patent 145413 of April 22, 1902.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 26. Januar 1905 ab. Längste Dauer: 21. April 1917.Patented in the German Empire on January 26, 1905. Longest duration: April 21, 1917.
In patents 145413 and 147757 a process for splitting oils, fats and waxes into the corresponding acids and alcohols has been described, which consists in the fact that vegetable ferments act in an acidic agent on the oils, fats and waxes concerned. W r ie in the cited patents described, the acidic agent can be obtained by reacting the free acid or acid salts are added, or in that BEZW without the addition of acids. acid salts brings the ferments together with the oils and fats and the action of the ferments in the presence of the acids developing from the mixture by itself - albeit only very gradually - can take place. In the various cited embodiments of fat cleavage by ferments, the effect is always triggered by the simultaneous attack of the acids and the ferment.
It has now been shown that the joint effect of ferment and acid runs much faster and more vigorously in the presence of heavy metal salts than in the absence of such connections. It is already known that lime and magnesium salts able to exert such an effect (Pottevin, Comptes rendus 136, p. 767). But it has been shown that they are much cheaper than lime and magnesia salts the salts of heavy metals work.
Besonders bewährt haben sich folgende Salze: Mangansulfat, Manganchlorür, Mangannitrat, Manganacetat, Eisensulfat, Aluminiumsulfat, Zinkchlorid. The following salts have proven to be particularly effective: Manganese sulfate, manganese chloride, manganese nitrate, Manganese acetate, iron sulfate, aluminum sulfate, zinc chloride.
The method can be carried out by two different methods first, the mixture of water, fat, ferment and metal salt at the beginning of the work acidic substances are added, or secondly, that one has the required acid can be formed in the mixture itself.
The effect results from the following: For the technically sufficient splitting of z. B. 100 g of linseed oil within 24 hours is the use of about 5 g of peeled Castor seeds and 0.15 g of acetic acid required.
Now add 5 g of peeled castor seeds and 0.02 g of acetic acid to bottle (1) (i.e. a sufficient amount of ferment, but an insufficient amount of acid), to bottle (2) 2 g of peeled castor seeds and 0.15 g acetic acid (i.e. a sufficient amount
Acid, but insufficient amount of ferment), for bottle (3) 2 g of peeled castor seeds and 0.02 g of acetic acid (ie insufficient amount of acid and insufficient amount of ferment). Bottles 4 to 6 are filled with exactly the same amounts of seeds and acid as bottles I, 2 and 3, but each of bottles 4 to 6 is added 1 to 2 g of manganese sulfate.
If you now determine after 24 hours what quantity of linoleic acid and glycerine has arisen, one finds that the splits in bottles 1 to 3 are considerable - on average by around 20 percent - lagging behind the splits in bottles 4 to 6, so that only the latter have a technically sufficient level of cleavage. ■ It follows from this that the Manganese sulfate both an insufficient amount of ferment and an insufficient amount of acid as well as a combination of both activated in such a way that technically satisfactory results be achieved. The main advantages of using the manganese sulfate or the Bring other salts with them are obvious. You replace it with theirs Use of the "reagents", some of which are expensive, some of which are disruptive due to their difficulty in precipitating them (Ferment and acetic acid) by a cheap one that is easy to remove from the glycerine Reagent, not to mention the considerable shortening of the process and the resulting shortening conditional savings in space, equipment and working capital.
Wenn man einen Pflanzensamen, ζ. Β. If you have a plant seed, ζ. Β. Castor seeds, combined with water, so gradually acidic products are formed, probably from the protein bodies of the Originate from plant seeds and among other things from Glycocoll, asparagine and other amido acids exist. The formation of these acids takes place relatively slowly, so that the seminal water mix takes several days has a strongly acidic reaction. But you can prevent the formation of these acids by the present process Accelerate considerably by adding the neutral metal salts mentioned to the mixture of seminal water. Then form in a short time Time from the seed so considerable amounts of acid that they become technical fermentative cleavage of fats and oils. You then take the same by working seeds, water, fat (oil, wax) and metal salt together without adding acid from the start.
Ölen ist aus folgendem Beispiel zu ersehen:The beneficial effect of the addition of manganese sulfate and other salts for acceleration the splitting of fat in the acid development in the mixture of plant seeds and fats respectively. Oiling is from the following See example:
Two bottles are filled with 100 g of linseed oil and 30 g of water each. The former 4 g of peeled castor seeds are added to the bottle and the same quantity is added to the second bottle Castor seeds and 0.5 g of manganese sulfate. One can now easily see that, while in bottle 1 the cleavage of the linseed oil is technically completed only after 5 to 6 days is, in bottle 2 the cleavage has already progressed sufficiently after ι to 2 days is.
The method is carried out in the same way as in D. R. P. 145413. and 147757 is shown. It is also advantageous to use the same ferments and uses especially castor seeds respectively. Castor cake. You can also get an enriched respectively use isolated ferment.
