Die Neuerung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Verhinderung des Schieberklapperns bei Drehkolbenpumpen.The innovation relates to a device for preventing the slide rattle with rotary lobe pumps.
Im Laufe der Entwicklung von Vakuumpumpen ist es gelungen, die zwangsläufig mit dem Pumpvorgang verbundenen Geräusche weitgehend zu beseitigen. Lediglich die bei Drehschieberpumpen durch den Schieber verursachten Geräusche, das sogenannte Schieberklappern, konnten bisher nicht vermieden werden. Bekanntlich gleiten bei den Drehschieberpumpen die Schieber im Anker, Jedoch muß das an dieser Stelle vorhandene Spiel so klein sein als irgend möglich, um die Abdichtung zwischen Saug- und Druckraum sicherzustellen. Dies hat zur Folge, daß bei den geringsten Veränderungen, z.B. bei Verwendung dickeren Oeles bei noch kalter Fumpe, bei geringfügigen Maßveränderungen infolge ungleichmäßiger Erwärmung des Ankers und beim Dazwischenkommen von kleinen Fremdkörpern, die Schieber diese Gleitbewegung im Anker nicht stockungsfrei durchführen, sondern kurzzeitig hängenbleiben und sich dann erst bewegen, wodurch sie mit einer bestimmten Geschwindigkeit auf den Pumpenring (Zylinder) auftreffen und so ein häßliches hämmerndes Geräusch erzeugen.
