Description

Composite panel The innovation relates to a composite panel, in particular especially for covering ceilings, walls and the like. In living and common rooms, ceilings are often used Wood clad. In addition to the spatial effects achieved in this way there is also effective room insulation (heat insulation) a, especially if exterior walls with such a Cladding can be provided. Wood paneling of the type described were previously made entirely of solid wood in the form of Boards and panels on a previously attached to the surface tes supporting structure are attached. This additionally indicated The shoring is space-consuming. Completely see that such massive wood paneling in the especially with large wall or ceiling areas are playful, such wood paneling take a substantial space and form between the back and the the wall or. Ceiling area created by the shoring precalled cavity, which is often due to a lack of ventilation Formation of mold and building sponges favored. These cavities can also be used as a settlement site for un- ziefer appear disadvantageously. These deficiencies are made use of the renewal moderate composite panel avoided, which according to the innovation consists of an artificial foam layer, one side with a wood veneer and the other side with a paper layer is pasted. With the preferred use of this Composite panel for cladding ceilings and walls is the side with the paper layer of the composite facing the wall or the ceiling. When using the composite panel according to the innovation for clad ceilings, walls and the like creates a relative thin cladding that can be ning shoring directly on the surface to be clad, ie can be attached without cavitation. For loading fastening are neither screws nor nails necessary have been widely used up to now. Rather, the innovation appropriate composite panel in a very simple manner similar to wallpaper attached by gluing. The composite panel according to the innovation has an excellent Nice thermal insulation ability and also a considerable one Soundproofing capacity, a property that results from wall cladding made of known building elements missed. Further details of the innovation are based on the following the drawing illustrating an embodiment is explained in more detail. 1 shows a section on an enlarged scale through a composite panel designed according to the invention, which is attached to a wall, and FIG. 2 shows a plan view of a, for example, square composite panel.

As can be clearly seen from FIG. 1, there is an artificial foam board 1 consisting z. B. PVC, polystyrene, polymethane, latex o. The like. On their one Side glued with a wood veneer 2, while the other side with a layer of paper 3 is pasted, which also serves to hold the composite panel when the same a wall or ceiling 4 is to be attached by gluing. As adhesives for the composite panel elements are suitable e.g. B. simple wallpaper paste, which is also used to attach the composite panels can be used on the wall or ceiling. If so desired, you can Detachable fasteners such as screws are also available for fastening the composite panels or the like. Can be used.

The composite panel according to the innovation can be produced and attached in the form of a plate or board. The boards or panels are expediently cut from a finished composite panel using known tools. For the dimensioning of the different layer thicknesses it has proved to be beneficial if the synthetic foam layer the 10 to 60 times - preferably 20 to 30 times - the thickness of the wood veneer. For the use of the composite panel according to the invention for cladding walls, ceilings and the like, the dimensions of the synthetic foam panels or boards on the one hand and those of the wood veneer surfaces on the other hand can be chosen so that the synthetic foam surface after gluing on one or the other protruding from the wood veneer layer on several edges. This also makes it possible to choose the proportions so that when boards or boards are placed on top of each other, the respective veneer layers do not abut flush, but rather form a joint that can preferably be designed in the same color as the wood or in a different color.
