Es ist schon bekannt, die Klemmen durch eine Haube abzudecken, die in ihrem Mittelteil einen Ausschnitt besitzt, durch den das Schalteroberteil herausragt. Diese Abdeckhaube ist zwar vorteilhaft, weil sie nur aus einem Teil besteht und auch leicht an dem Schalter befestigt werden kann, jedoch besitzt sie den Nachteil, daß sie sich nicht in einfacher Weise plombieren läßt. Die bekannte Abdeckung wird nämlich einfach mit Hilfe von das Schaltgerät untergreifenden Seitenteilen an dieses angeklemmt, d. h. die könnte nur dadurüh erfolgen, daß an dem Schaltgerät und auch an der Abdeckung besondere Mittel vorgesehen werden. Die bekannten Abdeakungen sind aber aueh insofern noch nicht befriedigend, als sie breiter als der Schalter sind und somit bei Reihensontage von Schaltern hinderlich sein können.
