Mehrphasige Steckvorrichtungen mit Metallgehäuse, z. B. die gußgekapselten Krage'steckvorricbtungen nach DIN 49 450/51 und ähnliche, haben außer den Phasenpolen noch einen weiteren Pol, den sogenannten Schutzkontakt, der sich gemäß den VDE-Vorschriften von den übrigen Polen durch voreilende Kontaktgabe beim Einführen des Steckers in die Steckdose unterscheidet. Den VDE-Vorschriften entsprechend muß der Schutzkontakt mit dem aus Metall, vorzugsweise aus Guß, bestehenden Gehäuse leitend verbunden sein, um das Anstehen einer gefährlichen Berührungspannung am Gehäuse mit Sicherheit zu vermeiden. Diese Verbindung vom Schutzkontakt zum Gehäuse muß flexibel sein, da das Schutzkontaktteil (im Stecker ein Stift, in der Dose eine Hülse) im Isolierkörper stets beweglich gelagert ist. Diese flexible Verbindung kann nun verschiedenartig ausgeführt sein ; eine den technischen Anforderungen in besonderer Weise genügende Lösung ist Gegenstand der Neuerung.
