DerErfindung liegt die Aufgabe zu Grunde, Def'ormationen
oderFormänderungen von klebrigen und druckempfindlichen
Na : ttklebebändern oder dergl. zu-verhindern, die eine-an.
terlage aus einem hydrophiles. Fila wi z. B. aas regene-
rierter OellttloH, 2o1yYinylalkohol, Leim, Casein, lMle'ibyl-
eotllalcae oder anderen feuchtigkeit. empfindliohen poly-
merentotfen, entha1ten, die bei Ànderung der Feuchtigkeit
Maßänderungenerleiden.

bänder genannt werden gewöhnlieh in Rollen gehandelt and
direkt von der Rolle verbraeht. Diese Rollen sollen auN
ästhetischen, vor allem aber auch teohniohen Gründen,
vollkommen rand hergestellt wertes and ihre runde yom bia
zum Gebrauch behalten. TSnglüeklieherweise verformen sich die
Rollen häufig ans verschiedenen Gründen.

Beispiel
1. Eine glatte, flache, transparente Folie aus regenerier-
ter Cellulose wird mit Hilfe einer Druckrolle an der Rück-

seite mit Wasser in einer Menge von 4 g/s überwogen und
zum Trocknen bei 930 durch einen Ofen geführt.
2. Auf die gegenüberliegende Seite wird ein aus 1 Teil
Polyvinylalkohol, 2 ! eilen Latex und 12 Teilen Wasser be-
r
stehender Primer in einer Menge von etwa 34 g/a. (Na. B-
gewicht) abgetragen, Verwendet wird ein Polyvinylalkohol
mit hoher Viskosität umd etwa 12 % nicht hydrolysierten
Aeetatgruppen und 88 % Hydroxylgruppen. Als Latex dient
einStyrol-'Btadien-MiBchpolymerisa. t (6 s 4) in Farm einer
wäßrigen Emalsien mit 45 % Festßtoffgehalt. Der Primer
wird getrocknet, indem die Folie bei 930 durch einen Ofen
geführt wird. Die Ergebnisse sind ebenso gut, wenn die
Schritte 1 und 2 gleichzeitig oder in umgekehrter Reihen-
folgeausgeführt werden.
3. Ein Klebstoff wird bereitet, indem 6 Teile eines teil-
weise mantisierten Kautzehuko und 4 Teile Harz in einem
Löngsmittel, s. B. !. t ! oluol, in solcher Menge gelBst werdent
daß eine 15% ige LSsng erhalten wird. Als Harz wird ein
Polyterpen-Kohlenwasserstoffharz mit einem Erweichmigs-
punkt von 1150 verwendet. Der Klebstoff wird auf die mit
der Primerschisht versehene Seite der Folie in einer sol-
chen Menge aufgetragen, daß sich nach dem Trocknen in einem
Ofen ein Klebstoffgewieht von 34 g/m ergibt.

4. Die großen Rollen des mit Klebstoff beschichteten
werden mit einer Schneid « aschine zu schmaleren
Rollengeschnitten. Die meisten Rollen aus glattem, =be,-
handeltem haben eine gewisse Ungleichmäßigkeit
(z. B. Einbeulungen, eng anliegende oder lockere Lagen),
ao daß einige der daraus geschnittenen schmaleren Rollen
zu locker oder zu fest gewiekelt sind. Im Falle von beban-

deltem bei dem keine Speichenbildung auftreten
kann, gleicht der Quelleffekt des Sastermusters die Un-

lich ist, die geschnittenen Klebstreifen mit gleichmäßi-
gererSpannung zu Rollen mit besserem Aussehen aufzuwickeln.

Vergleich zu Rollen aus dem gleichen, jedoeh-anbehandelten

zeigte sieh bei den geschnittenen Klebbandrollen
keine Speichebildung ; außerdem tat die Teleakepbildang
von Rollen, die starker Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt werden,
garns wesentlich verringert. Dieses Beispiel Teranachaalicht,
wie die Behandlung geaäß der Erfindung mit einer Behandlung
mit einem X<<tR in einer Stafe kombiniert
werdenkann.

Träger die Teleekopbildung verringert.
Beispiel 4
1. Eine glänzende, glatte Folie aus Polyvinylalkohol mit
einer Dicke von 50 F wird auf der Rückseite mit einer Druck-
rolle mit Wasser in einer Menge von 5 g/& befeuchtet
und in einem Ofen bei 93 getrocknet. Die Folie war aas dem
gleichen Polyvinylalkohol wie in Beispiel 1 gegossen.
2. Es folgen die Schritte 2, 3 und 4 von Beispiel 1.
Beispiel.. 5
1. Eine glatte, transparente Folie aus regenerierter eellu-
lose wird wie in Schritt 1 und 2 von Beispiel 1 behandelt.
2. Ein Klebstoff aus 2 Teilen Pale Crepe-Kautaehuk, 2 Tei-
len aysthetischem GRS-Kautechk, 3 Teilen Zinkoxyd und
3 Teilen des Polyterpenharze von Beispiel 1 wird als 25
gewichtapromentige Lösung in Toluol auf die mit Primer-
schicht versehene Seite der Folie in einer Menge aufge-
tragen,daß nach dem Trsck&en in einem Ofen das Klebstoff-
gewicht42, ; g/. 2 beträgt. GR3-Xautchuk ist ein Butadien-
Styrol-Minehpolyxerieat aus 72 Gew.-Teilen Mutadien und
28Gew.-Teilen Styrol und hat eine Mooney-ViakesitSt von 65.

1. Eine glatte, transparente Polie aus regenerierter Cellu-
lose wird mit Hilfe einer Druckrolle an der Rückneite mit

nen bei 93 duroh einen Ofen geführt.
2. Die andere Seite der ? olie wird mit einem ams Teil
Canein und 1 Teil latex in 13 Teilen Wasser bestehenten

PrimerineinerXengevenetwa1,4s/m (Nagewieht) über-
sorgen. Der Primer wird getrocknet, indem die Polie bei 93
durch eine Ofen cetührt wird. Die Ergebnisse sind ebenso
gut,wenn die Schritte 1 and 2 gleichzeitig oder in ge-
kehrterReihenfolge ausgeführt werden.
3. Die Behandlung wird durch die Schritte 3 und 4 von
Beispiel 1 ergänzt.
Es wurde festgestellt, daS bei den gemäß Beispiel 4, 5 und
6 behandelten Klebbandtrãgern die durch die Primerschicht
bedingte Krüsmung aufgehoben und demzufolge die Speichen-
bildung in den Klebbandrollen bei Einwirkung niedriger
Feuchtigkeit (30 bis 40 % relative Feuchtigkeit) ausge-
schaltet war. Gleichzeitig warde durch die Anquellung die
Neigung zu Tel. akopbildung bei Einwirkung starker Feuoh-
tigkeit (relative Feuchtigkeit über 50 %) im Yergleich zu
unbehandelten Trägern wesentlich verringert.

Das gemäß Beispiel 9 behandelte Band war zwar beständig
gegen Teleakepbildung bei starker Feuchtigkeit, jedoch
nicht gegen Speiehenbildung (bei niedriger Feuchtigkeit).
Dies war darauf zrüekzufahren, daß das Wasser in Raster-
form und der Primer im Gegensatz zum Verfahren gemäß der

Erfindung auf die gleiche Seite des-aufgebracht

welche Vorrichtung Jnmt Auftrag verwendet wird, daß aer
die Teleakopbildung nur verhindert werden kann, wenn die
Anquellung der Folienrückseite in Form eines Rasters, der
dieKompreaalbilität des Trägers erhöhtp vorgenommen wird.
Es wurde festgestellt, daß im Gegensatz zu einer Druck-
rolle, die einen unterbrochenen Wasserfilm aufbringt* durch
Rakel-oder WalzenaNftrag, bei dem ein zusammenhängender

Die Art des aufgebrachten druckempfindlichen Haftklebers
ist im Hinblick auf die Wirksamkeit dr Erfindung motrcsent'-
lich.Verwendet werden kann ein Klebstoff auf Basis Ton
Rohkautsohuk oder synthetischem Kautschuk oder anderen
Blantomeren, z. B. Polyvi-nyläther, mit oder ohne gülletoff-
zu » ats. Auch die Menge des Klebstoffs hat innerhalb des
üblichenBereichsTon 17 bis51 /m2 keinen Einfluß auf die
Resultate.
Weniger gute Ergebnisse werden durch folgende Maßnahmen
erzielt :
a) Behandlung mit wasserlöslichen organischen LSsangasit-
teinez. B. niederen Alkoholen und Aeeton, um die be-
schriebeneraterförmige Anquellung su ersielen, es sei
denn, diese Lösungsmittel enthalten genügend Wasser
(50 % oder mehr)-7
b)Zusatz TonGlycer1n oder anderen befeuchtenden Weich-
machern bis zu 50 % zum Primer ;
e) emoutes. Befeuchten der Brimereehicht der Folie mit
Wasserz= Anquellen derunterlage. Hierduroh wird
jedoch das ummgenehxe Nochbiegen der Kanten nicht aus-
geschaltet.
Die Trookuungebedingungen während der einzelnen Verarbei-
tungesehritte kö=en den Grad des Hochbiegenne aber niolit
seine Richtung beeinfluee$n. Diese ist bestimmt durch die
Seite, die behandelt wird.
Ida SrSnde für das Hochbiegen der Kanten können nicht genau
angegeben werden. Durch Aufbringen eines Weichmachern auf
die eine oder andere Seite der wasserempfindliehen Unter-
lagelässt es sieh nicht leieht beheben. Dies kann darauf
zurückzuführen sein, daß der Weichmacher allein nicht in
der Lage ist ; die Spannung auszugleiehen, oder nach seinem
Auftrag auf die Folie wandert. Versuche mit wasserlösli-
chen Farbstoffen haben gezeigt, daß der Wasserübersug
augenscheinlich vollständig in die Felie eindringt. Ter-
suchee die in Zusamenhang mit der Erscheinung den Nochbie-
gene der Kanten durchgeführt wurdene haben jedoch erwiesen#
daß die Wirkung des Überzuges nicht gleichmäßig verteilt
ist oder die verSbergehc&e Hydratisierog der Oberfläche
nach dem Trocknen in irgendeiner Weise bleibend in d@r
Polituntraktur zurückbehalten wird. Der bleibende Übergang
derTzügerfolle in Bezug auf die Richtung des Hoehblegens
bzw. die zur Behebung der Speichen ! eleskopbildung
angewendete durchschnittliche Filmdieke stehen in Weeheel-
bes1en. ng KU 4er Seite, auf die der Überzug aufgebracht wird
und auf der die Anquellung in Rastrform mxrüskbleibtund
sieht au der Menge des surflokbehal tenen Wasser8, dem
Grad der Gesamtbefeuchtusg o. dgl.
DerTorteil hinsichtlich do Aussehens und des grSßeren
Nutzens Ton Klebbändern gemäß der Erfindung wurde bereits
besprochen.eeniger augenscheinlich, edoeh ebenso wichtig
ist die Tatsache, daß durch das Verfahren lockere Kanten
in der Folie während des Beschichtens mit Klebstoff aunge-
schaltetwerden und sowohl beim Beschichten als aueh beim
Schneiden auf Bandbreite der Ausschuß wesentlich verringert
