Rail wheel with rubber bodies located between the wheel tire and the wheel rim. The innovation relates to a rail wheel with highly pretensioned rubber bodies located between the wheel tire and the wheel rim, which absorb all normal operating loads and are mounted in annular grooves on both sides. Such wheels are called "Linring wheels" in @raxis. The use of rubber-sprung single wheels are shown in
different cases are limited by existing operating regulations, e.g. E. when using these wheels on railway vehicles. For this purpose, there must be a guarantee that even with possibly corroded or aged rubber bodies, the wheel tire cannot give way in the direction of the wheel flange pressure beyond a fixed amount.

The aim of the innovation is to create a single-belt wheel, the rubber body of which is subject to exceptional operating loads, which may occur after a long period of operation, but can also occur at any time when the wheel has to pass curves with an impermissibly large track widening due to metallic contact between the wheel tire and the @elge be relieved. Expansions come in a playful manner
in the case of very heavily worn outer rails of curves, although this may not occur according to the existing operating regulations. In such a case, the inner wheel runs in the curve on its outer edge. Since this is beveled, there are large axial force components in the tire, which the rubber body is too flexible.
