Scarfing burner The invention relates to a scarfing burner, in particular
For peeling blocks, slabs or the like., With a device for the step-by-step
Advance of a ignition wire.
With such burners, care must be taken that the valve
for the scarfing oxygen is only opened when the advance of the ignition wire
is done. Is the burner valve arrangement within a certain safety distance?
in front of the handle, so that the operator will not be able to do so in the event of a gas leak
is at risk, so are complicated operating rods in the known burners,
which are prone to failure and expensive to manufacture. Through this operating linkage
is intended to move a control lever on the handle to the oxygen valve and
the ignition wire feeder.
Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht der Zünddrahtvorschubvor-
Langlooh 21 sorgt also
The object of the invention is to create a simple arrangement which ensures proper transmission of the movement of the operating lever to the oxygen valve and the advancing device. This is achieved according to the invention in an advantageous manner in that the actuating rod for the oxygen valve is connected to the actuating rod for the ignition wire feed device via a fork piece. The fork piece can be arranged at the end of the actuating rod for the oxygen valve and engage in the elongated hole of a driver piece connected to the valve tappet. The fork piece must first cover the path determined by the elongated hole before the oxygen valve is actuated. In order to obtain a convenient and easy-to-use setting option for the advance of the ignition wire feed device, the end of the actuating rod for the ignition wire feed device associated with the fork piece is provided with a thread for adjusting nuts in an advantageous development of the invention. So that the fork piece and the driver piece are protected, they are arranged between the pipes for oxygen and fuel gas, and the pipes can be guided in an arc at the point in question. Jamming of the ignition wire when it is pushed into the gripper lever of the feed device is effectively avoided by providing a recess for the ignition wire in the area of the bore. In the drawing, an embodiment according to the invention is shown, namely shows: Fig. 1 is a side view of the ignition wire feed
direction and the valve arrangement of a scarfing
burner, partly in section,
Fig. 2 the handle of the flame burner with the
operating lever.
The scarfing burner consists of the scarfing head 1, the ignition wire feed device 2, the valve arrangement 3, the oxygen line, 4th, the fuel gas line 5 and the handle 6 with operating lever 7 Gripper lever 10. The ignition wire 11 is guided from the sockets 12 and 13 in the housing of the ignition wire feed device and inserted through the bore 14 of the gripper lever 10, which is provided with a recess 15 in the area of the bore 14 to facilitate the introduction of the ignition wire and a To prevent jamming. The oxygen valve 16 is actuated by the operating lever 7 via the rod 17, at one end of which a pressure piece 18 is attached. At the other end of the rod 17, the fork piece 19 is screwed onto the thread 20. The fork piece 19 protrudes into the ZLL 21 of the driver piece 22, which is connected to the valve stem 23 via a thread 24. The rod 27 for the Zürddrahtvorsch: -bvorrichtung 2 is attached to the fork piece 19 with two adjusting nuts 25 and 26. With the help of nuts 25 and 26, between. ..e !: if the fork piece 19 is located, the advance of the device 2 can easily be regulated. The rods 17 and 27 are arranged in a protected manner between the oxygen line 4 and the fuel gas line 5. In the area of the driver piece 22, both pipes 4 and 5 are bent outward at 28 and 29 so that the fork piece 19 can perform its movements and is protected. When the operating lever 7 is actuated, the fork piece 19 is moved to the right until it has arrived at the right end of the elongated hole 21 'and then the driver piece 22 is also pulled to the right and the oxygen valve is opened. The Langlooh 21 thus ensures that the ignition wire 11 is first advanced before the scarfing oxygen valve 16 is opened. The scarfing burner shown in the drawing and described above merely represents an expedient embodiment of the invention without, however, being restricted to this burner. Rather, there are many possible modifications in the structure of the burner and in the arrangement of the individual parts without departing from the scope of the invention.
