Deri Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet eine Verbesserung der Überwendlichnähmaschine nach Patent 172705 und besteht im wesentlichen in der Anordnung eines quer zur Nahtrichtung schwingenden Fadenabzugshakens. Derselbe dient zur Verhinderung eines unnötig großen Nadelfadenabzugs beim Durchgang' des Greifers mit dem Greiferfaden durch die Schlinge des Nadelfadens und zur Beseitigung der Reibung beider Fäden, was eine Schonung des Fadenmatefials bedeutet. Bei dem Hauptpatent wird der Greiferfaden von dem Eintritt desselben in die Nadelfadenschlinge an bis zur Endstellung des Greifers von der Nadelfadenschlinge gehalten, so daß beide Fäden gegenseitig stark reibend aneinander gleiten und einen Zug aufeinander ausüben. Hierdurch wird der Nadelfaden bei jedem Stich noch zu einer Schlinge von gewisser Länge ausgezogen, wobei diese Schlingen infolge der ungleichmäßigen Dicke des Fadens verschieden lang werden. Das hat zur Folge, daß auch die abgezogenen Greiferfadenschiingen ungleich lang werden und das Stichbild nicht gleichmäßig breit wird. Dieser Nachteil wird, durch vorliegende Erfindung vermieden, indem der Haken den Greiferfaden während seines Durchganges durch die Nadelfadenschlinge derart erfaßt, daß er außer Berührung mit der letzteren gehalten wird und diese nicht weiter ausgezogen wird, als mindestens notwendig ist. Hierdurch wird nicht nur die größtmögliche Schonung des Fadens erreicht, sondern es wird durch die vorliegende Anordnung außerdem erzielt, daß die Nadelfadenschiingen auch sicher an dem Stichloch verriegelt werden, ohne den Nadelfaden zu sehr durch Zug zu beanspruchen.The present invention provides an improvement in the overlock sewing machine according to patent 172705 and consists essentially in the arrangement of a transverse to the direction of the seam swinging thread withdrawal hook.
