Durch die unter Nr. 163512 patentierte Erfindung ist zwar erreicht, daß die mit der Bürste aufgetragene Flüssigkeit auf den Haarboden gelangt und unmittelbar mit jenen Stellen in Verbindung gebracht wird, von welchen aus das Wachstum der Haare hauptsächlich vor sich geht. Dabei besteht aber noch der Nachteil, daß die Flüssigkeit infolge des der Oberhaut anhaftenden Fettgehaltes nicht genügend aufgenommen wird und daher zum großen Teile unbenutzt abrinnt. Dem vorzubeugen ist der Zweck der vorliegenden Verbesserung. Dieselbe besteht im Wesen darin, daß eine elastische Walze zwisehen den Auftrageröhrchen so angeordnet ist, daß sie die Flüssigkeit, sobald dieselbe die Röhrchen verlassen hat, unmittelbar auf die Kopfhaut abwalzt, um dadurch die Flüssigkeitstropfen in die Haut hineinzudrängen und auf der Hautoberfläche gleichmäßig zu verteilen. In Übereinstimmung mit dem Hauptpatent werden die Röhrchen c von einem biegsamen Träger b gehalten, der die oberen Enden der Röhrchen gegen die Abschlußplatte f des Flüssigkeitsraumes d drückt. Gemäß der Erfindung ist zwischen die Röhrchen c, vorzugsweise in der Mitte der Bürste, eine aus drei Teilen g bestehende querlaufende Walze eingesetzt. Die geteilte Walze sitzt auf einer biegsamen Achse h, an deren beiden Enden je eine Feder i angeschlossen ist, die andererseits im Bürstenkörper in irgend einer geeigneten Weise befestigt ist. Die biegsame Achse h ist mit den Federn i fest verbunden, und die Walze g dreht sich um diese Achse. Die Lage der Walze g ist im Verhältnis zur Länge der Röhrchen c so bemessen, daß bei geradestehenden und demzufolge oben geschlossenen Röhrchen der äußere Umfang der Walze g an seinem unteren Teile gegen die unteren Enden der Röhrchen etwas zurücktritt, also Federn i und Walze g ein wenig kürzer sind als die gerade gerichteten Röhrchen c.
