Dampfhaube Die bekannten Dampfhauben besitzen als eigentlichen Dampfraum
ein haubenartiges Gehäuse, das den zu behandelnden Teil des Kopfes umschließt. In
diesem Gehäuse ist ein Dampfrohr mit Ausströmöffnungen, meist in der Nähe des unteren
Randes angeordnet. Die Wandung dieser Haubeugehäuse ist entweder vollständig aus
Metall oder aus Kunststoff gefertigt. Der aus dem Dampfrohr ausströmende Naßdampf
kondensiert zu einem grossen Teil an der Landung des Haubengehäuses und das hierdurch
anfallende Kondenswasser muß auf verschiedene Weise aus dem Dampfraum abgeführt
werden. Vor allem tritt dieser unangenehme Umstand in Erscheinung, wenn die Haube
erstmalig als völlig kaltes Gerät eingesetzt wird. Auch bedingt die starke Kondensation
