Haartrockenhaube.
Hair dryer hood. The invention relates to a hair dryer hood with built-in pressure and suction air fan, which is formed as a full jacket from. In such a hair dryer hood, the compressed air passes through an annular gap left free by the hood base ent long of the single-walled hood body against the outer edge and is sucked back on through a central opening of the blower together with any fresh air that is still entrained.
With such full jacket hoods that work with compressed and suction air, it has been shown that the air flow, which acts uniformly on all sides, is not sufficient to dry all parts of the hairstyle at the same time. This is due to the fact that the neck parts of the hairstyle, which are especially enriched with moisture due to the washing liquid seeping backwards and downwards, dry much later than the other parts of the hairstyle, and thus the hairstyle parts that have already dried out of the air flow for as long as possible. must remain set until the nape of the hairstyle has dried too.
In contrast, according to the invention, the section of the outflow opening for the compressed air to be brought into the area of the neck parts of the hairstyle to be dried is relocated to close to the edge of the hood. This can be achieved in a simple manner in that a guide wall is connected to the corresponding section of the hood base, which forms a guide channel for the separated compressed air flow with the single-walled hood shell, which ends near the hood edge, so that the neck part containing more moisture the hairstyle is supplied with a proportion of the compressed air flow that acts more strongly due to the direct impact and therefore causes faster drying.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention is shown, namely Fig. 1 shows a partial longitudinal section and Fig. 2 shows the section along the line II-11 of FIG.
The hair dryer hood consists of a single-walled jacket a, the base b of which is held by spacer supports c so that it leaves an annular gap free for the compressed air. In the middle part of the bottom b an opening d is provided, which is expediently filled in front of a wire mesh or the like and is opposite the suction side of the fan. Against the blower, the opening d is extended by a nozzle e, around which the resistance heater f, which is used to heat the compressed air, is arranged and which serves to separate the pressure and suction air flows caused by the blower wheel g.
The fan wheel g is driven by a motor (not shown) which is covered by a cap lt attached to the hood jacket a. The whole hair dryer hood is held by a support arm k, the z. B. can be connected to a tripod.
According to the invention, the lower part of the outflow opening for the compressed air is to be moved towards the front against the edge of the hood. For this purpose, in the illustrated exemplary embodiment of the invention, a guide wall designed as an extension of the base is provided which, with the single-walled hood jacket a, forms a guide channel o for the compressed air, which is laterally bounded by walls p. The edge of the hood is provided with an inwardly directed fillet irt for the favorable diversion of the compressed air.
