Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht nun darin, daß diese Schwinghebel als Hebel mit zwei ungleichen Armen ausgebildet sind, von denen die längeren den Wenderahmen unterstützen, während die kürzeren durch eine als Anschlag dienende Stange verbunden sind.
Auf der Zeichnung ist ein derartiges Bettsofa durch Fig. ι im Längsschnitt und durch die Fig. 2 und 3 im Querschnitt in zwei verschiedenen Stellungen des Rostes dargestellt. Der auf der einen Seite mit Sofapolsterung, auf der anderen Seite mit Bettpolsterung versehene Rost α steht an beiden Stirnseiten mit Schwinghebeln b, b in gelenkiger Verbindung. Diese Schwinghebel b sind unten . in den Seitenwänden des Kastens mittels Drehzapfen g gelagert und treten etwas durch den Boden des Kastens hindurch, wobei sie an diesen Verlängerungen durch eine Stange-c zwecks besserer Versteifung gekuppelt sind. Die Stange c dient gleichzeitig als Anschlag für die Schwinghebel, indem sie sich bei beiden Endlagen derselben gegen den Boden des Kastens anlegt. Die Hebel b, b unterstützen bei der Gebrauchslage des Rostes als Sofa diesen an der hinteren Seite (Fig. 2), während der Rost sich gleichzeitig mit der Leiste / auf die Vorderwand des Kastens legt.
