Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine aus zwei festen Seitenwänden bestehende und mit Stoff bezogene Trommel für Waschmaschinen. The subject of the invention is one consisting of two solid side walls and fabric-covered drum for washing machines.

Die beiden Seitenwände α besitzen am äußeren Rande die Nut b. In dieser Nut b sind eine Anzahl Rundstäbe aus Holz lose gelagert und durch Netzwerk zusammengehalten. Die Verbindung muß stets derart sein, daß sie ein jalousieartiges Zusammenfallen der Wandung nach unten innerhalb der Nut b gestattet, sobald die Verbindung des Mantels, die zwischen zwei Stäben auf einfache bekannte Art erfolgen kann, gelöst wird. Im Innern der Wand können auf beliebige Art Taschen aus Segeltuch angebracht werden, die die Lauge mit hochnehmen.
