Fig. ι und 2 der Zeichnungen stellen den Apparat dar. Derselbe setzt sich zusammen aus einer Kufe A zur Aufnahme des Filterbettes, die auf einen Sockel R aufgeschraubt ist, der einen gufseisernen Rost B trägt; auf letzterem liegt ein mit einem Gewebe bedecktes Eisenblech mit Löchern, das die Filtermasse zurückhält. Am Boden des Sockels ist das Rohr C zum Abflüsse der filtrirten Flüssigkeit angebracht. Die Kufe ist mit einem Deckel H versehen, der durch Oehrschrauben rasch abnehmbar·, gemacht ist. Die Verbindungen zwischen Dgfekel, Kufe und Sockel sind durch Kautschuk abgedichtet. Zur leichteren Beweglichkeit ist der Deckel durch Gewichte IP ausbalancirt.Fig. 1 and 2 of the drawings show the apparatus.
