Den Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes bildet ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines leimartigen Stoffes aus den Ablaugen der Sulfitzellulosefabrikation. Bekanntlich entsteht beim Eindampfen der Sulfitzelluloselauge bis zur Sirupdicke ein Produkt, welches leimartige Eigenschaften hat. Das erhaltene Produkt kann nach bekannten Methoden weiteren Reinigungsprozessen unterzogen werden, es kann durch Alkalien entfärbt werden, so daß eine neutrale, zu verschiedenen Zwecken brauchbare Substanz entsteht.
