Verfahren und Vorrichtung zum Beschichten von Bändern, insbesondere mit photographischen Emulsionen Die Erfindung richtet sich auf ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Beschichten von Bändern, insbesondere mit photographischen Emulsionen, wobei die Fertigbeschichtung mittels eines der Beschich tungsrichtung entgegenwirkenden tangentialen Luftstromes vorgenommen wird, der über ein spaltbildendes Lineal in einem Unterdruckraum einbläst, aus welchem die Luft abgesaugt wird. Es war deshalb übliche den Hohlraum möglichst groß zu gestalten und den Luftstrom mit dem herablaufenden Schleier an überschüssiger Emulsion zu kreuzen, um den Luftstrom nicht zu brüsk umlenken zu müssen und um die angestrebte Geschindigkeitsverkleinerung zu erzielen. Der Nachteil dieses Verfahrens war der erforderliche große Hohlraum, der eine relativ große und schwer zu handhabende Gießeinrichtung bedingt sowie die.Schaum- und Bläschenbildung in der rückgeführten Emulsion. Der andere Teil wird in dem Vordosierkeil 7 zu einer Schicht vorgeformt, die aber dicker ist als die endgültig zu bildende Schicht. Die fertige Schicht wird an dem Spalt 8 zwischen dem Band 1 und dem sogenannten Gießerlineal 9 durch die Abstreifwirkung der tangential zum Band 1 in den unter Unterdruck stehenden Hohlraum 10, 12 einströmenden Abblaseluft gebildet. Die Luft wird unmittelbar hinter dem Lineal 9 umgelenkt und durch die Einschnürung 11 und die Kammer 12 durch den Anschlußstutzen 13 abgesaugt.
